More of my 2 cents.....Gas goes up 75 cents a gallon...then comes down (supposedly by summer) 40 cents a gallon...what's that all about ???? Are we supposed to be happy & grateful for that....do the math...we're still getting scre%*#@ ......Many of us will continue to travel & pay the price & our plans won't change that much other than the grumbling when we go to fill 'er up....However, what about those RVers who are living on a very fixed income & don't have the 'cushion' to allow them to travel....Those are the ones who I feel bad for...

We paid $3.79 just outside of San Antonio this afternoon. On our roundabout way back to D'Hanis I saw it at $3.87 - this is for regular gas.

New Plan.....find a friend to travel with you so they can do the CPR on you at the gas pump.

I came back from Nevada a couple of years ago and CougarFan flew down to drive back with me...I told her that was her JOB every time I got gas at $4.79 a gallon. Having a 75 gal gas tank and only getting 7-8 miles to the gallon was cause for Heart Failure for sure!!!!

Lol on the cpr. Luckily randy and I are both certified!

News says gas is coming back down soon. Yay for that.

Couple of more thoughts on the prices of gas. Two years ago when gas was 4.00 per gallon, price per barrell was 147.00 per barrell, this go round gas is 4.00 a gallon and the price per barrel was only about 112. per barrell. What's wrong with that picture.

But remember each time you fill up, count the number of days you didn't spend 75 to 100 dollars on a motel room and enjoyed your freedom.

Reports in papers here say gas may be $3.50 by summer. I'll take it. Better on the wallet by a long shot.
