I'm a geocaching failure...Got within 10 feet or so. Also, there'll be no kayaking this time. After checking with my advisors, I'm pressing on towards Huntsville, contrary to Sarah's wishes. Hope to make it as far as Wendy's tomorrow, and Huntsville by Monday.

Liz, before you look for them are you checking on geocaching.com to see when they were last found? If it's been more than a couple of months since the last find, it's probably not worth looking for. I don't usually look for things more than a month old. Depending on the type of cache, they can be easily "muggled" or fall victim to the elements. So keep that in mind when you're deciding what to look for. Don't get discouraged, though. There are thousands out there waiting to be found!
