Hi All!
Sorry I missed Morning Coffee. I got up at 4:00, due to the hooting of a barred owl outside my screen room where I was sleeping, and watched the entire wedding. I am always amazed at the oppulence and architecture and bells and rituals at those royal events. I really love watching them. I am also reinforced in knowing exactly where my genetics comes from as those people look more like me than any others on earth----especially poor not-so-beautiful Camilla! I even stayed for the balcony kiss. I am very thankful for Dianna's contribution to the boys' genetic pool, as they are both very handsome guys, and quite normal acting compared to the other royalty!
Then I went back to sleep until I awoke for a late breakfast. After that, I went out to plant my adders' tongues, had a coughing fit when I was finished (I still have some leftovers to find spots for) coughed my hernia out and into a painful condition, so back insdie I came to lie down again. I slept for about 4 hours, in between coughing.
Tonight I went out to WalMart to get some more mulch and edging for the side of the house where I planted today, and I will doctor that area up tomorrow. I may then go to the trailer in St. Cloud to get my chicken salad, pasta salad, and other stuff I forgot there, and I will also take some stuff from here that I need to pack in the trailer to take home with me. It's much cooler tonight, at about 60 degrees outside, and feels so good on the porch here. My retirement check posted to my bank account today, so I paid any outstanding bills I still owed and am good to head home when/if the storms cease. I am shooting for next Sunday at this point. I will miss nights like this one here in the sunny south.
Beth, I hope you have a pretty weekend, and I hope you enjoy it in your luxurious campground.
Horizon Seeker, I hope your son's wife recovers completely and that things will get much happier for your whole family. Do they know what caused those lung clots and heart congestion?
Many are busy doing spring things, gardening and all that good stuff. I sure do hope those who were in the paths of those latest horrific storms are ok and that all will check in soon.
Kath is happy to be safely home and visiting with all her family-----have a good weekend, all!
