Last night I ran a load of clothes through my washing machine and put away the new yellow t-shirt I had worn last week--nice and clean. Then I noticed an identical yellow shirt in my dresser with the tags still on it! Must have really liked it.

Every year I get each of my daughters-in-law a subscription to People for her birthday. This past December, I discovered when I went to renew the subscription for one of them that the previous year (2009) I had renewed it twice--once in early December and once in late December when her birthday is.

Duh!

Great thread - at least we don't have to feel alone!! My daughter is almost 37 and I think she has moments like these more than me but, of course, she works full time and has 14 mo. old twins. LOL

When Bear was a wee baby about 6 weeks old, I picked him to be my little boy dog. On the way home, I am checking him over...and saw only a belly button. I told my ex....eeeek they gave us a girl, this is a girl. He slammed on brakes grabbed Bear, turned him over...said ggeeeezzz that is no belly button, he is just very small, don't make him feel bad.

As he grew older, yes he was a male.

Judy, the magazine people don't help us much, as soon as you subscribe to one they start sending deals to extend your subscription. I use to keep a running list of my subscriptions, when I paid and when they expire. Now if they agrivate me too much I just cancel them. I don't need them anyway.
