Let's get together!

The Real Blue Marlin GTG

Postby dayspring39 » Wed Apr 20, 2011 3:55 pm

Oh that was just a spoof now the real story... I did get lost and yes Liz I should have put the GPS on but did not... (some of us never learn)... Mitch had to come rescue me somewhere in nowhere... boy they sure picked a perfect spot to live...

Image

wish I could have stayed forever and so did Shadow... he had to coverup Abby's pee guess that is a guy thing...

Image

George mows 6 + acres for their lawn... shadow really loved to run free as a bird...

Image

There are fish in this huge pond... it is very deep... Shadow did not go for a swim he is chicken...

Image

Image

There is a nest with eggs in it near a garden by the pool... do not know if these are the parents or not...

Image

Image

We sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon... Abby has her own place to bask in the sun...

Image

Image

I mentioned to Mitch that I had never been to Paris or seen the Eyeful Tower... so she rented a private jet and took me there...

Image

and we also saw the eyeful tower...

Image

well so we actually took the car!!

She showed me the largest man made lake in the US... we only saw a small portion of it...

Image

Food there was an abundance of it always made and served by Mitch... she would not let me go in the kitchen....

Image

George sure enjoyed eating and he always said how good it was and thanked Mitch for fixing it... what a guy...
And he even helps with dishes!

Image

Image

This is the best picture I could get of Mitch... she is truly shy!!! NOT!

Image

Mitch simply glows as she hugs George... I can tell they had such a wonderful life and now this new chapter is hard but they have such good memories... she will have to draw from them now that the path has taken a different turn...

Image

I would go back in a heartbeat... Mitch you are a very special lady...

Kathleen, thanks for sharing your wonderful visit with us.

I wish that Mitch wasn't on the other coast -- I'd be at her house in a minute!

Your pictures truly capture her home, and the last one of her and George is a real keeper!

Thanks!

Great GTG! I'll make it there one of these days. Only because I want to see Mitch lay down in the road to stop traffic like she did for Vickie. Mitch, you need to print and frame that last picture, it's awesome. Best picture I've ever seen of you. George's head sure does look better, he healed pretty fast. Glad to see that.

Yep, looks like the Blue Marlin outdid itself yet again!
Mitch, I think you missed your calling. Perhaps a B&B someday?
Loved all the pictures. God sure bless Mitch and George with a beautiful home and surroundings.
Well, I guess He had to match it to the owners!
