Amy I hope your first day back at work went well...
will be stormy here in western TN (will post pictures later but most of you will be shocked maybe not Vicky though) but I am heading for home today anyway... will watch things and if it gets real windy will stop and take shelter...
May your day be filled with good things today and always...

Good morning Kathleen and everyone that follows!

Kathleen, please be careful on the last leg of your journey home. I know you will be but we're still concerned for your safety.

It's a mild day on the eastern shore of MD today. We're going to get into the high 60's and if the sun should happen to make an appearance, we could even see 70 degrees or better. The fullmoon was just as pretty last night as it was the night before but was cloud covered again this morning. We have a chance of rain moving into the area again this evening and tonight, so it's doubtful we'll be able to see the moon this evening.

To everyone here, whether you are on the road, camping somewhere or are home, please take care & watch the weather conditions.

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Thanks for opening up the kitchen, Kath. Molly and I were out for a walk when I remembered her vet's appointment today for her 3-year booster shot, so we have now been there and back. I stopped at McDonald's which is right next to the vet's, and got me a bacon-cheese-egg bagel to go. YUMMY! It's another beautiful day here, and will reach record high temps this afternoon. So I will be swimming again later on. For now, just get caught up on the computer, read email, and basically loll a bit! No....actually, I'll join Alice in pedaling my bike a bit, and exploring more neighborhoods around here before it gets too hot.

I hope everyone made out ok with the terrible storms, and that you are aware that there is yet another front on way on the same path. It's enough of this.

Happy Tuesday. Tomorrow is SS day for me, and I am sure needing it after the vet bill!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Happy Tuesday. Thanks, Kathleen, first day went very well. I did consider going home after lunch, but stuck it out. I forgot how much my students enrich my life. I love my job and the people I work with, so I consider this additional therapy.

Last night was rough though. Pain meds weren't doing the trick, so I added the Valium. Finally eased up and I slept. Tired this morning, but feel much better.

Beautiful spring days here. May it continue.

After work I'll be getting some candy for my son's Easter basket. I'm not sure I should do it this early though, knowing my lack of self discipline. The chocolate could be gone by tomorrow.

Happy sun shiny morning!

Two days in a row to awake to the sun is beyond a "happy dance"! I'm a bit stiff from all I accomplished yesterday. After walking the dog, getting groceries and gassing up the car, I came home and did 2 batches of laundry, vacuumed the entire house, mowed the front and back yards, edged around the patio and swept it clear of yard debris and emptied the huge flowerpots (all the plants died this winter). I sure wish the warmth from the sun would also register, tho. Still in the 40s, low 50s, and partly cloudy. But I have hope!

Amy! Thanks for the update on your first day back. Please don't over do it. It does sound like being with your kids sure helped, though. Take care.

I have the dishwasher running and I need to finish edging the front lawn. Other than that, nothing planned. If I knew we were free from any more frosts I'd go get some soil/plants for my 3 big flowerpots on the patio. Alas, I will wait it out. I see all my Mexican heather died this winter. Guess they weren't perennials. Will have to replace those at some point.

Thanks for the coffee, Kathleen. Safe travels today!
Soos, have fun biking!
Enjoy life!

It's no longer morning but thought I would pop in and say hello. I'm so glad you finally had a bit of sun Lenora sounds like it gave you a big energy boost. Amy glad to hear you are progressing and I hope the pain is soon gone. Soos enjoy another day in the sunshine! Have a safe trip home Kathleen, give a shout if you are close, not sure which route you are taking. Looks as though storms & heavy rain is moving in here again for the rest of the week I don't mind well unless the storms get bad, I prefer cloudy days, maybe we should switch places Lenora!
