What a wonderful, historical town/area! Great pics and narrative, Kathleen. Thank you, Sarah, for touring with Kathleen when you were under the weather. Hope you are feeling better.

What a great adventure you and Sarah had, and I can't believe how good you've gotten at posting pics, Kathleen! CONGRATS! I love seeing places other have been. I wish I didn't live so far east, as I would consider visiting all those RVers out in that area. But I must stick to the tried and true for two big reasons----gas prices and pure fear of hauling all by myself!

Thanks, ladies, for the great tour. I've never seen a log building built with the logs vertical before----how unique!

..

Only one I have...

First night, we had strip steaks and salad and baked potato and broccoli and garlic bread.
Next night - back ribs, potato salad and ice cream.
Last night - turkey, mashed potatoes, cauliflower, cranberry sauce (homemade), cole slaw (BEST I've ever had - thank you, Kathleen), rolls and angel food cake/raspberries for dessert. YUMMO!

And NO bail money needed; we are BOTH very well behaved women. But Kathleen is WAY nicer than I am, that's for sure.
It has been a great visit! It will be lonelier at The Blue Marlin without her and her lively little dog, Shadow.

Well, if you keep posting your menu...you won't be lonely long. I suspect there'll be a long line of visitors coming your way.

Glad you enjoyed Kathleen's visit.

I second what Liz said! I'm so glad Kathleen was able to stop by and wish her well on the rest of her journey home.

It's good to see Kathleen's smiling face, but I'm betting Mitch didn't let Kathleen take any pics of her!

Yep, I'll admit, Mitch is a great hostess, just don't tell her I said that. 8-)

Wish I was as confident a cook as you, Mitch. Wow, what yummy meals!

HA - I'm not so confident - I keep a full supply of frozen pizzas for those times (frequent) that my cooking fails... :)
But thanks!! And isn't that the greatest picture of Kathleen? She has the best smile...

ON EDIT: Just talked to Kathleen - she made it ALL the way home and she and the pooch are safely ensconced in her home in Normal...
