Just curious...why did George collapse? Did he trip or black out? Did you find him? Keep tabs on him at all times. They are known to wander off aimlessly and get lost quickly, (altho, I have been known to do that occasionally too  !).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Don't know. I think it was low blood sugar, but I wasn't there. I found him laying on the concrete, wedged under something and he couldn't get out from under. I had to call someone for help.

I'm having Yankee company arrive Good Friday for the weekend. We figure instead of an Easter Egg hunt, we'll just let G outside by himself for 20 minutes and then we'll hunt for him...if I put him in a light pink shirt and pale yellow pants (Easter egg colors), he shouldn't be too hard to find.

..

MItchie, Mitchie, Mitchie! You KNOW that at this hour of the morning when mouths are full of hot coffee and hovering over keyboards, your last post should have had a spew alert! Now I am cleaning up my mess!

Leave it to you to think of such a unique Easter hunt for your guests! Your cleverness and humor just gets better and better! Maybe mini-strokes are good for one's outlook on life! I wonder if someone can find a way to prescribe the precise location of such 'events' in the human brain instead of depression meds?

Here's hoping you have a fun weekend with your Yankee friends!

Happy travels!

Mitch so sorry to hear about & see George's owies...glad it wasn't worse than what it was. I agree with the others, take care of yourself - you have lots of reasons George and You being the most important. I do appreciate your sense of humor. You always know how to make us smile and not worry too much.

Gosh darn Mitch. All kinds of things popping up for you. Certainly hope you and George get your health issues under control, especially yours. I know all about that high cholesterol issue as I too am now on meds for the same thing. Hopefully they will do the trick. I'm sure that a lot of my problem is stress related too, as I am trying to make some life altering decisions here. Sell house, retire anyway, travel etc. Somethings gotta give.

Enjoy your time with Kathlenn. She is such a gracious lady. I can tell that even though I haven't met her personally yet, but am hoping to maybe next winter if she returns to FL or perhaps this summer if she happens to be up in Michigan someplace. And hope to meet you too eventually.

Take care now.
