Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Friday, at last!

Whew! we made it to Friday!

Come on in gals, coffee's on and there's a platter of apple cake on the table. Cream and sugar? Here you go,.......

There is a very heavy frost out there this a.m. My deck looks like it's got a dusting of snow, but it's really just frost. I was surprised when Midnight went out,.. I thought she'd choose to use her indoor litter box,... I sure wouldn't want to step on that deck with my bare toes.

I'm off to work and then to Plattsburgh after school,... routine doctor appt, then out to dinner with friend at a fantastic Chinese restaurant.

You all have a great day,..... I gotta get going,.... b'fast, pack my lunch, and get out the door!

Goooood Morning!!!

Well dang! Gots 2 early birds this morning. It's cool and breezy on my backporch this morning, thermometer says it's about 42 or 44. Not 100% sure as my eyes were still a little squinty out there this morning. But no frost, that was yesterday morn with a temp of 30. Brrrrr

TGIF??? It's work as usual today, except we now also have to work 2hrs over tonight. When they changed hours they had left Friday alone. But not now, plus we still have to do the extra 8hrs tomorrow. ?? Ya know it's not that I hate the overtime? I usually work some OT anyway and I don't mind going in to do 4hrs on my Saturday off. Kinda nice to have a little extra $ in your check. It's how they do it. One week take hours away then the next week do what is now 18hrs of mandatory OT. It really causes an uproar up there. Wait until almost the very last thing to say something and then threaten to deviate you if you don't work it. Raises holy hob with the people who depend on others for rides and with the girls who have kids. Babysitters and daycare places are not impressed. More than a few have lost their sitters and daycare because of the hours/OT game they play. Kelly was reading online that this place here of all the ones they have is suppose to be their "Flagship" center. A shining example of how a call center should be. LOL ~sigh~ I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a couple jobs we are hoping for come thru. OMG it will be awesome. But I'm not gonna jinx us!! ;)

Well time for another cup of coffee and then to get dressed. I think I'll go back out on the porch for a little bit. Cool but really rather nice out there. Love the easy fall weather and the smells. :D

Hope everyone has a super great day, stay safe.

Love to all

Good morning. Well I made an apple crisp yesterday that I thought I'd share this a.m. But... I sat down in front of the TV last night and ate it all! - poor tummy...
It is pouring rain here this a.m. and supposed to all day according to the TV. Bill is frustrated cause he can't keep running out to the motorhome to work. So he has something going in the garage. Me, I'm going to curl up with a book. Maybe start mapping out our trip as far as Vegas. He says he only wants to go 150-200 miles a day - so will start checking out campgrounds. We going from here to Terre Haute then down through St Louis and on to Oklahoma City then over 40 to the 95 to Vegas. Taking freeway most of the way as we want to spend some time in Vegas and So Cal with our kids.
Every one have a very good day.

I see we had two morning greetings yesterday - just remember ladies - we would rather have 2 or 3 even three of you do one at the same time than none at all. Yep, I could have put them together - if I'd seen them - but I was in Mexico for the day.

And I stopped at a bakery just this side of the border - got an entire bag of goodies for $3 - can you believe it? So, I'm putting them on the table for all the latecomers to enjoy :)

Mexico was fun. I went and had an evaluation at the dentist. He doesn't think I need to crown on of the teeth I was thinking needed it, but suggested I do 2 back ones I hadn't been thinking of. One of them is always a pain to get the food out of, so I agreed - we'll be doing 4 teeth- 2 on each side of the mouth. So, I'll be planning an overnight trip to south TX to get the prep work done on one side of my mouth the first day, and the other side the 2nd. That will give me all my temporary crowns, and I'll only need one other trip down a couple/few weeks later and will get all 4 of them that day. Gonna have to work it out with my schedule here - so it might be a month or so before I can get this started.

That said, I made a booboo yesterday- forgot to bring my cell phone, missed an important business call and it looks like I lost a big order on my pinata store because of it :( I meant to turn the phone off for while actually in MX, but didn't mean to not take it for the ride down and back. My error - got to live with it - and with a very upset, disappointed customer. Dang. Sales are slow with the economy right now - can't afford to screw up the big ones.

That said - it's history now - and I can only learn from it and not forget my phone on the counter - for the future.

No big plans today - still chilly out - 63 right now - not sure what it was when Peaches and I walked through the park, probably not much less, but the sun shining now feels warmer. Will go to the beach later when it warms up a tad more.

Have a great day, all :)
