Too Cold For Bathing Beauties on Virginia Beach...So.....

It was just too cold for bathing beauties or 6-pack Hunks on Virginia Beach Wednesday, so had to revert to touristy things of interest... ;) But never fear, we did find them.....

First, the usual coastal staples....like a Waving Lady...

And an old Coast Guard Station that is now a museum.....

But what you don't usually see is a statue of "NEPTUNE" as part of a small state park on the beach....

Hope you enjoyed the trip to Virginia Beach.....Today we did a little walking around the town here right off post....

Tomorrow, we'll be packing stuff up, doing the laundry, and chilling....We plan to hit the road Sunday morning and head home....all good things must come to an end, but am so looking forward to spoiling the GD, Visiting the relatives, and planning for the PA GTG in June....Hope to see you there.... ;) Til later....

I didn't realize how big that one was until I saw the photo of you standing next to it! Very cool statue!

I usually don't care about touristy attractions, but that statue of Neptune is one I would truly love to see in person. Thanks for these great pics!

You found another neat place to explore. I simply must do a coastal route sometime. Great pictures!
