Okay, my Fun Pass is mostly completed. My ride to/from the pot is covered. Only one small issue but nothing we can't solve if I scratch my head and ask Sharon.  I am ready to go ahead and schedule some of the shore excursion if you tell me that there is a chance of missing a place. I am ready to go for the St Johns Catamaran/sail and the San Juan Favorites. I am open for suggestions for Grand Turk stop? Anyone been there?

Well.....hum. Good point Mitch. :) Okay I looked at the list for Grand Turk and kinda like the kayak/glass bottomed eco tour among the mangrove trees but that's just me and if the "port" holds out who knows what I might like!

If she keeps going with the port I'll be able to talk her into another round of flying thru the trees on a cable!! :D

I've never booked any port excursions in advance, and always been able to secure on the cruise. Do you gals normally book in advance? We plan to do the St. John catamaran also. Will be the first I've snorkeled since I don't have to wear glasses, and that will be so cool to be able to actually see what others see!! Not sure about other ports except "The Oasis" at the private island.

I have already booked the St John excursion. Since I've been to Grand Turk I plan on beaching it and looking for loads of beach glass (perfect place for it). My friends, Theda and Missi, went on the dune buggy rides and really enjoyed it. I had thought of kayaking but decided to look for glass early before it was all gone. Haven't booked San Juan yet as I haven't decided. Will probably wait until I get on the ship.

BTW, pot is illegal to buy, not to sell so be very careful. Oh, wait, we aren't talking about the same pot, are we. ;)

I've always booked the shore stuff in advance, but that's just me. I like to have all of my ducks in a row. There are some things I'm anal about. Now, when it comes to rv'ing, that's a whole nuther story. It's kind of....lick my finger, see which way the wind is blowing and head out with the wind at my butt.

I'm trusting Miss Carolyn to take care of Half Moon Cay and will book the catamaran in St. Thomas today. Thinking San Juan Favorites and Outer Island in Grand Turk. Could be convinced for the kayak thing if Tina is having Kayak withdrawals. On the other hand, I'm perfectly happy noodling around town for a while and then retiring to the ship to sit by the pool and hot tub.

Okay, my Fun Pass is complete and my reservations are in for the San Juan Favorites and the Catamaran dinner/snorkel/cruise. :D Sharon, I could just make it around Grand Turk without formal plans. It might be a good experience so that I could have the planned and the unplanned shore days and compare which I like, you know for planning the next cruise :) :D ....But I also have no experience scuba diving and I could be talked into doing that...those pictures look beautiful..... okay, okay back to work again tomorrow.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go Scuba diving. Unfortunately, I can't clear my ears when I go down. I scuba'd in Cozumel and tried and tried, no go. I did the dive in pain, and even gave the instructor bucks to take me back down for another dive...we tried everything. I spent the rest of the cruise with an earache. Now I have trouble even when I go into really high mountains. Trust me, it's an experience not to be missed and you should do it. I can keep myself occupied. Go for it GF! It's nothing at all like snorkling, ubelievably beautiful and so peaceful. I'll just be so jealous, tho! :D

OK, booking done for now....Champagne Sail Away on whatever island that's on :? and San Juan Favorites on San Juan. Glad that's done, now I can stop looking for a while. My problem is I would like to do about 80% of them.

That is sort of how I look at traveling in general...so many choices and so little time ...well some limitations of money, too.

I've never booked shore excursions in advance either - but probably would if you were going in a group like this. That said, I've taken lots of cruises and normally find that booking something on shore is less expensive and I get just what I want. I like to pick where I go etc. That said, I LOVE LOVE LOVE St. John - probably one of my favorite islands - haven't been there in 20 years - but I doubt it's changed much. So much of it can't be built on.
