Hi Carolyn, can you list who all's going on here? It kept sending me in circles to register for that cruise critic thing! My neighbor who is going is named Gwen. Shes a lot of fun and goes on cruises all the time. Wendy

I would also like to see the list as I also had a difficult time with the cruise critic website. I know that I'm on the list!! Can't wait!

Got the cruise paid for, flight out of Little Rock booked, fun pass filled out (hardest thing I did all week, what a pain!) and trying to keep Tina on the straight and narrow. I am SO ready for a cruise!!!

Way to go, Sharon in getting all your arrangements done. Nail a little more of your travel plan out and Mitch will make you a map!
Good luck on the Tina thing, that is likely to be a bit more difficult.

I'm working on the details.....this weekends detail was realizing how few "non-stop" flights leave the Cincinnati area. And trying to leave from Dayton (usually cheaper than Cincinnati) is worst. (And let us all agree that no one is driving me to Lexington to get any of those deals  ) Now there are great deals to go to Orlando and see the mouse but Miami, not so much. I have so many choices of places I don't want to change planes, miss planes, lose luggage and/or be delayed in....Trenton, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis... :D I have run through airports trying to make a connecting flight and that wasn't even with the fear of missing a boat....I think I am taking the upgrade/bite for one of the few non-stops available. The extra $ isn't that much and my peace/piece of mind is worth the cost. It is sort of nice. After waiting all these years to do some of this...I can give myself permission to go in some style!

My other assignment this weekend is to list my choices/options for shore trips and let Sharon know. Carolyn, I think we both were on board for the Catamaran/sail/snorkel/food and drink option. I liked the idea of being out on all that beautiful blue water with a wine glass in my hand....might have to wait until after the snorkeling is completed though.....

We are having fun and we aren't even there yet! :D :D ...but then my mind/imagination is easily entertained!

...I just have to be sure not to mess with my Alaska funds :o ;) ..... I am a serial dreamer! :D

Reporting in to my mentor.... :) I have officially paid off the remainder of the cruise. We are good to go. :) And the flight has been scheduled. Next on the list is to complete my cruise fun pass and schedule my transfers. .....need to wait for another payday or two and start scheduling the shore excursions. :) Also, I am thinking that I need a waterproof digital camera. I saw the one Vickie used with her kayak at the AR gtg. I am thinking that a similar one would be nice for kayaking and snorkeling..... I need all the motivation I can get to keep going into work and sitting at the computer all day. But compared to digging ditches or having to be responsible for the world....this job job will accomplish what I need it to accomplish. :P Sharon and I are beginning to look at possible shore trips. We can all do different things but...if some of us are interested in the same stuff well that would be good. Any good suggestions at particular ports?

Tina, thankfully they won't let you drink until snorkling is finished. You will enjoy the Catamaran, I love it! I'm thinking of doing the old town tour of San Juan as I have never been there. I haven't gotten my flight as I don't know where I'll be departing so that's still up in the air.

There will be a birthday party (of sorts) on the first day of the cruise in the disco for 1.5 hours but there will be more info on that. It will start at 5:30-7:00, in time for us to get ready for dinner. Then the only other "group" thing to do will be for a group picture but again more details as the time gets closer.

One of the old town tours combines with the rainforest. Which one were you looking at or considering?

I kind of like the "San Juan Favorites", which is the combo rain forest and old town.

Are y'all booking a hotel night or arriving the same day as departure from the port?
