Happy to hear it was a great trip, even with the minor problem. The first time I stayed in my RV was in my driveway for the weekend. :D I didn't want to go far. :D

Hi and Welcome.

Ah, another small TT owner. I too have a small TT and like you am single, with no children, family etc. Am working summers for the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources in my local state park here, so do my camping in MI and not too far from home due to time constraints too. Have been considering dumping this house and traveling for a bit too. Colorado and Wyoming especially Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons are high on my bucket list. Like you I grew up with parents who iiked to travel and have covered the eastern half of the U.S., plus across the top states to WA. Also Canada except for the Maritimes. Been to Alaska and love the Yukon.

I'm hauling around a Rockwood Mini Lite 1809S. Love it, although I just found my perfect floor plan that I have been really looking for but couldn't find it till now. As it's a new model for this year, so might be doing a changeover later on or might not.

If you ever wander over Michigan way, give me a holler and bring your kayak. I can show you all the lakes and rivers you would ever want to put your kayak in. Good luck at Camping World getting your Rhino Flex hose. Bet that won't be the only thing you come out with

I'm up in your area keeping an eye on my granddaughter while she is out of school. You forgot to tell them that Saturday was a great day with warm weather and sunny skies and Sunday, well Sunday to someone from Texas was not a great day since it snowed and was cold. Of course I realize that my thermostat differs from yours having been in Texas for so long. I had wheels for one day, yesterday, so I took advantage and took my granddaughter to your Cherry Creek State park. It was a little warmer than Sunday but just a little. We enjoyed the park and I know you must have been back to work because you were definitely not in the campground. It seemed like a nice campground although $24 plus $9 day fee is a bit high. I bet the park is pretty when the trees are filled out. We did see some deer right there in the campground which thrilled us. Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet but I know you will have lots of fun with your new RV.

So glad you had a good shake down cruise. Now you can get what you found wrong fixed, and do it again :) Hopefully with nothing else wrong happening.

I'm late with my Welcome, but nevertheless, it is still most sincere. I hope you have a great time, with your new TT. Sounds like you know what you need to, to get going, we all still learn as we go along, doesn't matter how long we've been out traveling. :)

You live in a beautiful state. I love it out there, my son and family living there, might make me a wee more prejudiced though. ;) Looking forward to hearing all about your trips and adventures.

So glad you have joined us, and hope to hear from you often on here,
CArol :)
