Oh, it is so nice to be welcomed with your warm messages. Thank you all. It feels already like home. Liz took a picture of me and my rig which I am posting.
It seems as if I only have a glass on my right eye, but don't worry, I am not a pirate !
I look forward to exchange a lot of travel adventures.
I am not a great writer, but I will try.

I spent a few hours in Switzerland on a tour one time....really beautiful.....I so hope that you get to come to 1 or Both Get Together's in PA this summer so that we can visit....I really like your RV....and it looks like you enjoy the RVing life....take your time exploring this forum and join in the conversations anytime....

Welcome from Michigan. I enjoyed reading your introduction. Glad you joined as it is very nice and interesting when we can get some perspective and read about adventures from those who are from other countries. Thee is never a lanugage barrier in the RV world.

I have a neighbor who lives near me here, who is originally from Scotland and I have met and even corresponded via email with his nephew and wife from England. So very interesting to see how they ilve as compared to us and how we talk about the different names we have for the same thing. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan was heavily settled by Cornish, Finnish, and others in the heyday of the copper and iron mines, so I have picked up a little of their way of life as well.

Have a great time exploring on your way Nord this summer. I you get up to Michigan, give me a holler. I am way up in the tip area of the mitt. And oh yes, the city of Gaylord which I live south of, is sister city to Pontresina, Switzerland.

Please don't worry about how you write , no one is prefect here and all we really read anyway is the feeling and opinions of the writer. This is a very caring group of women and none will criticize you. We are just so glad you have joined us and I look forward to meeting you one day. As someone else said, its great to have someone from another country, on our forum, especially one as interesting as Switzerland, and that has been on my bucket list for many years to travel to.

On your travels north, I would love to have you stop by for a lay over. I live in a beautiful area of the country, and would love to show you around. You can check the members map and see if I might be near or on your route.
