The Wedding Dinner

Postby retiredhappy » Fri Apr 01, 2011 8:09 am

I took my daughter and new SIL to dinner to celebrate at Chilis. Earlier I had left a cake and cake topper (you'll love the topper). After we finished eating the waitress brought the cake. Thank God they both have great senses of humor. We'll be more serious at their bigger wedding in August. (FOR SHARON: 8/21 = reception at 11th street biker bar in Bandera). As a wedding gift Chilis paid our entire tab which was about $70. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The cake topper. John thought this was hilarious.

Now all we have to do is get thru his surgery.

Karen, I have had my BIG laugh for the day, what a cake topper!!!!. Its great you now have a SIL, with such a good sense of humor. I wish them both well and will have them in my prayers for a successful surgery and a long marriage, with wonderful adventures together.

I couldn't believe that cake topper, what a riot, something they will always remember, thats great . He's real lucky too, to have a MIL that has such a great sense of humor.

I'm with the rest of the crew...to funny! Yep, now to get thru the surgery, but since all of us has his back, he's safe! We've seen it before so we know it works!! :D

Before I saw the picture, I figured it would be a wedding couple on a Harley. This one is really cute too! A great wedding and "reception" to remember! The big one in August will be even better!
Kudos to Chili's for the free dinner!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
