Need help.

Postby Liz » Fri Mar 25, 2011 10:12 pm

Hello fur friends, Bandit here. I need some help. Would someone please tell my mom not to invite that other cat camping with us anymore? You see her there behind me...that Tattoo cat. She thinks she can sleep anywhere she wants...even my pillow. She expects me to move if I'm on it. She eats my food and uses my litter box too. She even plays with my toys. I have to gobble her food every chance I get just so I can eat, and then she has the audacity to hiss at me. But she sucks up to my brother Roe. She likes him. I'm going to have to go visit her in her house in a couple of weeks while my mom goes sailing. I bet she won't let me sleep on her pillow! So you see why I need your help.

Bandit, Sophie Kitty here...
I know just what you are going thru. My mom brought in a stray cat who now thinks she owns the place! She uses MY litterbox (so I snuck over and took a big dump in hers! HA!), and then has the audacity to think she can jump up on my mom's bed and share her with me! I put her in her place real fast on that one! Chased her all over the apartment and bit her on the butt! You should have heard her scream!! You just gotta show her who's boss! Put your paw down and let her know you won't put up with her snobby cattitude!
Good luck!

I'm not into "kitty talk", but think the pictures says it all without words! Thanks for the smile.

My dear friend, Bandit.....

You need to let that other kitty cat know who's the "head kitty" in your house.....we dogs have no issues in this area....that's what all that sniffing of butts and low growling is all about when we get company....it's our way of telling the visitor this is my house..... ;) That being said, I know you are a friendly kitty and if the other kitty would just learn how to share, I'm sure you would, too. I know your Mommy has taught you how to be the best host, so kill that other kitty with as much kindness as you can muster while he/she is visiting and maybe some of it will rub off on him/her..... they may learn something so that when you go to visit them, you'll be treated the same......if that doesn't work, maybe you can have a private talk with Roe to see if he'll help you get the message across....

Good Luck!!

Your friend,

Sassy and Buddy here. We know EXACTLY what you mean about a new guy trying to take over - just think Sophie. That little runt came in and just MADE HERSELF AT HOME. And you should see the say she sucks up to people and even other dogs. We're trying to teach her to be more stand-offish and make people suck up TO HER by giving her treats and stuff but she's a slow learner.

Oh Bandit....remember you can tolerate for short trips what you wouldn't want to travel with full-time :) If you aren't actually getting attacked in your sleep I think you will be all right. Best defense is to pretend that you didn't want that silly pillow anyway....everybody knows a nice warm 'puter is the place to be
