We went to Van Buren last Monday to look around.....Great place if you are into Antiques.....but we saw some impressive old building and the Train Station there....

Then on one of our walks here on Ft. Chaffee we found "The Enchanted Wedding Chapel" down the street from us......use to be a troop chapel but since part of Ft. Chaffee is now part of Ft. Smith, the Chapel is now used for Weddings...

Hope you enjoyed the photos.....My baby afghans are done and will post them in the Arts and Crafts section...

Lori, those old buildings are great. Love that first bank it's beautiful. And that train station?? I've seen a few where people have taken old banks and train stations and turned them into homes. Now that train stations would make a cute house. As long as there's no train still running right smack in front of it and blowing that whistle!!! Wouldn't that just wake your butt up!!!

 Yeap, the tracks and the trains still go by the train station, so it sure would be a rude awakening.... Our adventures in the last 5 years have taken us to the well known and the "off the beaten path"......love taking photos of everything.... ;)

I'm going to guess that the train station is one of the newer buildings of those you showed us - that or it got a rehab at some time.

Love the pictures - thanks for taking us with you.
