MONDAY MONDAY......

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MONDAY MONDAY......

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

I actually wrote a rather meaty post yesterday afternoon, and, before I had copied it, of course, hit a wrong key on this laptop and poofed it off to byteland wasteland! When that happens, as nearly all have experienced, the desire to repeat and reconstruct one's thoughts and words poofs away, too! Sorry about that!

I am still in St. Cloud, as the kids and I went in on a swimming pool from Walmart yesterday, and I opted to stay here today to oversee the filling while they are at work. They, in turn, will go to my house in Orlando and water my plants for me. I need to call and remind them to check my mailbox, too, while they are there. It's an inexpensive (200.00) above ground model, but seems to be HUGE compared to the one I had back at home a couple of years ago. It will be good for the interim until they can afford an in-ground pool later on. They have two wells with this property, so it is filling fast! I can't WAIT to try it out! I am taking pictures of the process, too.

We watched the supermoon come up over the pond the other night, but none of us has a camera fine enough to get many good pics of the event. I will mess with what we got later today and try to post one or two pics if I can find them...I think I saw one that was worthy of saving.

Happy Monday to us all! Coffee is hazlenut, as usual, and I am sitting in the sun in the screen room sipping!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good morning! Freshly brewed-at-home Starbucks House Blend in my Go Cup this morning.

I'm at the health club early this morning as Randy had to stay home and help our friends/renters move in this morning - finally. I'm not holding my breath though. They have been trying to get moved for two weeks now.

It's quiet here - getting some planning done for the week, which will make the week less stressful.

I feel like dancing and singing about my new home (Chateau Henrie). It was such a great, great sleep last night. Happy.

Have a lovely day!

Good morning to all from sunny Huatabampito (I love that name -) When we got here Saturday we were the only RV here - since then 3 more have come in. Every one is headed north now. Uneventful drive here - mostly straight flat 4-lane divided highway. Lots of tolls. As always the sunsets are beautiful here - posted a couple pictures on my blog.
We went into town - Huatabampo (means willows by the water) - the ito part of the name of where we are means small.
Saw some dolphins swim by this morning - think I got a picture of their fins.
This is a three day weekend here - Benito Juarez birthday today - so all businesses are closed. Yesterday the beach was packed. Cars, ATVs, dirt bikes, tents, kids, music etc etc. Today will probably be the same.
Went into town yesterday to the market and stopped at the big flea market - lots of stuff for sale from apples to wheels and everything in between.
Don't know what we'll do today - just enjoy the weather probably. Not sure where we'll stop next on our voyage north - probably two more stops in Mexico before we cross the border into AZ at Nogales. I'll miss the weather here - seems like it has been raining for a month at home.
Safe travels for those of you on the road and nice days for you at home. wow I had just copied this when I lost the Internet connection - using the RV parks Internet as the wind was blowing so bad when we got here I didn't want to put Stanley up The Driver is complaining about not using "that expensive piece of s&%#.

Good afternoon everyone!

It feels cooler than the 60 degrees than it really is, but that's probably because it is very overcast and damp around the edges. We had a thunderstorm this morning which we haven't had since last year sometime. Everyday this week is going to be cooler than the day before with temperatures only in the high 40's on Saturday. Winter isn't over yet.

Our first camping outing is the first weekend in April, so I sure hope temperatures warm up a bit between now and then.

I hope everyone's day goes well, wherever you are, whatever you are doing.

Morning!
Enjoying my second cup of java and all seems well in Lenora's world. :D

The wind howled all day yesterday. Sure wish the rain would stop so I can get out and clean the yard of debris and mow! My little neighbor boy, Joey, stopped by to let me know one of the slats in my backyard fence had fallen off. It's in an alcove and not noticeable from my patio door so I was so happy he told me. He offered to lean it back up so my dog wouldn't get out. He's so sweet. I got my hammer and few nails and went out, in the wind, to tack it back up and Joey was there with his little boy hammer trying to fix it. So we co operated and did it together.

Hooray! The pickup is sold! Well, the guy left a $500 deposit and is visiting his credit union to get the loan. Fingers crossed!

Kim, I'm so excited for you and Randy! Hope the sleeping situation gets figured out so he can get a good night's sleep.

Vickie/Ronnie. Safe travels to the campground and get some much needed rest!

Kathleen, how is your itchies? Hope that it's getting better.

Nan, how's the pain levels?

Hugs to all!

A little late...but good day to all.

I'm still camping in my yard. It looks like closing on my house will be delayed as the buyer waits for $$ to go through GA probate process...could take up to 3 months, yikes! So I'm talking to them about getting an agreement in writing with $$ attached so I'm not having to start all over 3 months from now if things don't happen. I don't plan to be here in 3 months!

Also, my planned sailing trip has been postponed until April 9th departure, so bummed about that too.

Soos, have fun swimming in the new pool....it's certainly becoming swimming weather fast here in FL.

Lenora, congrats on the (almost) sale of the truck. One more thing off your mind, and a relief, I'm sure. Sounds like you have nice neighbors.

Irmi, I know you're getting excited now. I'm looking forward to reading about that 1st trip in April!

Carol, I know it's inevitable, but I hate to see your adventures, photos and stories in Mexico end. I always enjoy your blog posts.

Kim, I'm excited for you too, as your adventures are just beginning!

Hope all who are ailing are beginning to feel better as Spring arrives. My day is just puttering and continuing to organize things in the RV.

Good afternoon all, it is overcast and low seventies here, my kind of day I don't like full sun. The trees are all starting to bloom so hoping no more freezing temps so I'll have pears again this year.

Liz I'm so sorry the sale has been delayed I hope you can work something out.

So far this morning WInnie is a little better, I am so tired from being up at night with her. I need to get her some steps up to my bed so I don't have to wake up and put her down or worry about not waking if she needs to get down to potti. This is the first day the drinking and pottying has slacked off a bit, she was going to have the test for Cushings disease in the morning but I'm going to watch her a few more days before I put her through that, she gets so upset going out in the car and especially to the vet. I'm handing out so many pills to these dogs I think I poked a wrong one down Charley this morning.

Think I'll try for a nap. I hope everyone is feeling better who hasn't been up to par and that something good happens for us all.

I forgot to ask, has anyone heard from Mitch haven't seen her post for several days now.

Still only 10:30 here on the Left Coast. Pouring rain outside again. Lots of damage and flooding overnight from wind and torrential rains around LA.

Lenora, how cute is that neighbor boy for helping you fix the fence! What a good kid!

Lola is getting braver now and is up on my bed with me! Sophie is under the bed hissing.

Am looking forward to Wednesday, driving up to Laguna Beach to do some exploring and to meet with that guy from the internet for lunch!

Soos, can't wait to see pics of the pool! You will have a nice little "resort" going there now! All you need is a cabana boy to fan you when it is hot out and bring you cool tropical drinks! What are you going to do with your house over the summer?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
