Diana, I've never met you, yet I understand you better than your GTG friends...

I think you meant that you are FINALLY able to make a GTG since it's been such a LONG TIME SINCE YOUR LAST ONE...

Good grief!! I go golfing for a day and all 'hail' breaks loose! OH COURSE I DIDN"T FORGET CA OR TEXAS GTGs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What I MEANT to say was that I finally get to go to an EASTERN leaning gtg!!!! While LA is not FL (or even AR), it is going in that DIRECTION!!!!!!! That said, I am so looking forward to meeting all the new gals and am happy to see a couple I have been fortunate to meet before again!

Aaahhhh Right, Miss Carolyn, on your list put me in Slot 140, per Nona that's where she is sticking me. VickieP I am glad you guys over there only get Fat on Tuesdays. Here in Texas, we manage to get Fat everyday of the week!!

Goody, goody, Sprinter (Sharon) driving over from K'ville. Diana from Austin - as she said Woo hoo! Then Vickie and Carra and meself from San Antonio environs. This is going to be so much fun. Bunches of ladies I haven't met and some others I met last November.

I really, really do plan to take the low road over to Abbeville. Hope to get some birding done on the way. And then up to I-10 and over to the Frenchman's.

Liz I am leaving Tuesday morning. You could get there by Saturday evening. We will just go do everything all over again when you get there.

Had a talk with myself and "we" decided it just isn't practical to try to make this one. Too far west from my summer plans, too much $$ out of my AK fund, etc. So regretfully will have to pass. To appease my disappointment about that I spent most of the day planning all the fun things to do on my route to NE. I'll meet up with all of you next year...or down the road another time.

Yes, Liz, I know about that need to save the AK gas money. I am planning to homestead after the LA GTG. Not sure exactly where, but I am working on some ideas. So, we will talk about you while we are there and you will become even more famous than you are already. Will have to make sure someone takes photos and post them. Bet Carolyn already has a plan for that.

Will see you down the road.... maybe this Fall. Not sure about AR yet.

Well, it just doesn't look like I will be able to make this LA gtg. I do hope there will be another. On the bright side, I think that I will be able to do the AR gtg in October. Perhaps I will meet some of my LA sisters there. Ya'll have fun and feel free to talk about me if it gives Liz or anyone else a break.
