Marslet said cheap, what are the fees again in that area, I love along the water.

CArol :)

Thanks, CArol - need new glasses, I believe :) Not sure why I piped in - maybe cuz I know I can't be there - but am following along listening to all those of you who can.

Sharon, I don't know where you're gonna end up either! We're going to be in Lake Village Arkansas! I think you're thinking of Greenville MS, right across the river a little ways.

No wonder I couldn't find Gordonville on my Arkansas map !!!!!! :o  :? Good thing I have an Arkansas CG book, or I might end up out in the boonies somewhere all alone, and that wouldn't be any fun. Keep her straight Vickie !! ;)

Now Sharon, Chico down here is translated to be Lake Chicot State Park. Us southern girls are known for making things short and sweet and to the point, in other words, we don't beat around the bush.

Shoulda known, but Vickie did point out that there was another lake Chicot somewhere in the south and didn't want you to end up at the wrong one! And have I ever ever missed one of Mitch and Vickie's extravaganza's???? You can run and you can hide, but I always find you!!

Wondering if anybody has made reservations for this GTG yet, and if not, when do you recommend doing so?

Really good question, Liz, I have been wondering the same thing. Also which area? I know the F, section was mentioned and that really suits me, I love the water sites. But I'm with everyone else, where we will all be somewhat close together.

It is early, so just watchng and waiting here, planning to be there though, no bells on, :P

OK, so I think I can make this one. I need to go visit a cousin in AR anyway. Will have to see how close this is. My plans for fall are wide open. I have one big trip this summer to GeoWoodstock in PA in late June/early July and taking a little side trip east on the way home. But October looks wide open and in fact I was planning to head toward my brother's house in AZ once the weather cooled down some. A GTG sounds good along the way.

Yay! Another victim..er...member for the Arkansas Blowout!! Vickie, check out last year's GTG and the one in Nashville from the previous year...we have a ball. Altho, truth to tell, I've had fun at all of them, no matter where they were or how many ladies were there.
