Everything on the island comes over by ferry and then is delivered by dray wagons.

Left out the photo of the taxi carriage we took that went past some of the multi-million $$ Victorian homes. 80% of the island is state land, so there is very little private property. Most of the victorian homes have been in families for decades and seldom come up for sale.

I hurt my leg on this trip falling off my bike, so I had to take the taxi back to our hotel. Did insist on riding down the 1.5 mile gentle hill on our last day, however, while my son and his wife took all our luggage and cooler on the horse-drawn taxi. Nothing like a looooong downhill ride!!
