GOOD MORNING!

After years of frustrated dreaming - WE GOT OUR RV!

In November, we bought a 1999 Four Winds Chateau 31'. It has been parked at the previous owners home through the winter. Now we are making plans to get it down the hill to be serviced, get new tires, etc. Hubby spent the last 4 days reading all the manuals, etc.

Tomorrow, we give 60 day notice to the landlords for our health club business. March 7, we will give our members 30 days notice. By April 30th, we will be ready to lock up our house and hit the road for a summer of full-time RVing. Expect to be back home in Colorado sometime in August.

So excited! Will be asking lots and lots of questions!

It IS exciting and thanks all for the warm fuzziness! I'm so glad to be catching up with you all.

Will take lots of pictures as soon as we get the RV up to the house. Probably a few weeks away. Need dry weather for a couple of weeks so that the road will dry out. Randy went and got quotes on new tires this afternoon. That means he's mentally getting ready to go. awesome!

Yea! Glad to hear from you, Kim. Thought maybe our little GTG made you rethink posting ;) That's great that you'll be able to get away for the summer and who knows what might happen. Update please on the family and maybe we'll see you on the road. Still don't have the plans from tGM yet as to where we will go-I'm drowning in jello  carold

Hi carold!

LOL - no our visit did not turn me off of posting. I just felt it was unhealthy, me wanting it so badly and not seeing it happening.... visiting the forum was depressing rather than uplifting. Now.... I can celebrate!

At this point, our plans are to hit Texas, Denver-area, Kansas City, Sioux Falls area, Minneapolis and then head back to CO for a bit in late August... then head to Utah, Seattle, Portland and California coast.

It would be fun to run into you again on the road!
