Gooood Morning to all!

Yeppers it's Thursday. Tomorrow we have off then work from Saturday to Friday and have the weekend off. Dang that just to many days in a row at that place. Don't really have to many plans for tomorrow other than the usual of cleaning house. Paychecks are pretty much spent already. Got cell phone bill to pay and the insurance on the bike. Plus I need to pay David back for the parts he bought to fix the Blazer. ~sigh~ Told Kelly depending on what we have left after figuring in buying groceries that I would like to get my hair cut. Not sure if she's gonna get her's cut or not? But by time we get done we will probably be broke again. Never fails, if it's not one thing it's another. Such is life....

For whatever reason I woke up before my alarm went off this morning. Not 100% sure what time I woke up? But finally gave up and rolled out of bed at 5:10am. Gads!!! I will feel that missed sleep long about 3pm today.

They opened a new grocery store here yesterday. It's called Earth Fare and it's a health food grocery store. Yesterday was the grand opening and boy was that place packed. Got some a few groceries and stuff for supper last night. I'm gonna be in trouble because they have an awesome salad bar. YUM Didn't take the time to really check out the meat department tho I did see that they had organic, chemical free ground chuck for $2.99 a pound which is good. If the rest of their meat prices are that good? I know where I will be getting meat from now on.

Ok gots to get my butt in the shower or else I wont be done for when Kelly gets up. She gets really grumpy if she has to wait for her shower in the morning!!!

Good morning Echo,.... and those sleepy heads still in snooze land!

It's raining here this a.m. but that's ok,...we've had quite a stretch of dry weather so it's good to get some rain as we don't want fires in the fields and woods.

I went to Plattsburgh last night after work and bought some new shoes and sneakers. Gosh, does anyone call them sneakers any more? I can't call them tennis shoes as i don't play tennis! Can't call them athletic shoes as i'm sure not athletic!

Today is my easier day of the week. No study halls, just monitoring the computer lab and one 1/2 hr. of lunch duty with grades 4-6. Those sixth graders are fun,... they are just getting into that flirty, silly, hormones pumping age. Girls and boys are sitting together,.... in 5th grade they are not at that stage yet,... still avoiding each other.

OK ... out the door! Have a great day, no matter what the stock market does!

Good morning. Up early this am, had 2 cups of coffe and am ready to go-But the rig is not. They still have to work on one of the basement doors that doesn't close correctly and then clean the carpet. This is will be going on while I'm taking the complimentary driver's class offered by LD when you buy here. Thank goodness I drive one of their's. That way I can relax and not worry about banging up mine. Hope everyone has a great day. carold

I'm a little late this morning. Had to go to the Lab first thing, fasting, which means not even any coffee, to get my blood work done in time for my checkup Monday. The weather has cooled off and is gloomy - good day to curl up with the dogs and a book. Hope you all have a great day.

Boy, am I really late..... But I do have a good excuse......went golfing with Ernie this morning.....Didn't do great, but had fun and enjoyed the walk...WHAT!! Yeap, you heard me right, I walked 9 holes of golf......now I can say I got my workout in walking today.....

It's cooler here today....but the sun is out....

Okay, back to the afghans....

How about gym shoes - still what I tend to say - even though mine never see a gym

Really late here today - even though it's my day off! Just let time get away from me. But had something good happen today. My scooter cover is made by Dowco - and it is falling apart. I just bought it after getting the scooter - so maybe in February? I think this southern hot sun just got to it. Anyway, I was looking online to see what to buy to replace it and in the process went to the Dowco website - hit the contact button - and sent them a message about how disappointed I was. Lo and behold, within 1/2 an hour I had an email back asking me to call for a return authorization number. I return it - and as long as they don't see anything I did to cause the damage (nope, I didn't do it) then they will send out a new one to me within 1-3 business days of getting this one back. How cool is that? Some companies really do stand behind their product - so if you need anything from them - I'll give them a plug here - www.dowco-inc.com.

Rained here overnight and temps went down today - chilly outside. But Peaches and I took a trip down to the beach this afternoon after getting the box - walked and played there a bit - she's a happy dog. I just needed to wear a sweatshirt. Kept on shorts, cuz I wanted to walk with my feet in the water (water is warmer than the air - oh, so nice.)
