For anyone interested in seeing what snowbound Adirondackers do for fun in the middle of February, this link will take you to slide shows of the entire extravaganza! It always amazes me how much fun we all have for the entire week of the events, not to mention the long and arduous job of building that ice palace in sub-zero, snowy weather. I feel as if I had been there after viewing these slides, but I wish I cold have been there in person. It is such a fun week! The photographers did it justice this year! Notice that it looks as if every day but the first and last of the building of the palace it was snowing hard!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

St Paul, MN has an annual Winter Carnival too, with a parade, games, contests and they have occasionally built ice castles too. That is cool!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
