So. Calif: Anza Borrego State Park, Feb 27- March 3

We'll be looking at the Spring flowers and going on "safari" to hunt down the giant metal sculptures surrounding Borrego Springs.

I did this last year. You can download a map that gives you a general idea of where the sculptures are, but you really have to look for them to find them, and figure out how to get to some of them. You can drive right up to the base of all of them.
We are meeting at Ocotillo, just off the I-8 and S-2. The dates are Feb.27-March 3, a total of 5 days. We have 7 women planning to attend so far. Where exactly we'll be camping is still to be decided, but it will be a boondocking event. Come with a full fresh water tank, and empty holding tanks.

Thanks for the invitation, Diane. I'm sitting at Lake Casitas as I type this & next weekend will be with RVW at Tucalota Springs. I don't think I could handle another trip in such a short time as I'm still working. Please keep us posted if you put together anything else, though, especially in April. My Spring Break is the second week and I'd like to find somewhere to go for at least part of the week.
