Lenora, that reminds me, I actually bought 2 Powerball tickets for Saturdays drawing, I better go check if I won. Don't ask me how I connected the two, I guess the thought of lots of money! :roll:

Maybe the connection between the wedding and the Powerball tickets is that you have as much chance of getting an invitation to The Wedding as you do of winning Powerball.

Lenora, I'm so glad you posted this. I was feeling so left out, not recieving my invitation as I had expected. What a bummer !! But hey if the president isn't invited, I really thought I should be.

Another great laugh on this Monday morning. I needed it, thanks !!

Well, ladies, I am quite the opposite. I have been dreading getting my invitation for weeks now, wondering how I could gracefully back out and avoid all the pomp and frou-frou and money spending! Do you suppose it's safe now to think I have avoided that bullet?

Next to income tax stuff, this fear of getting my invitation has been preying on my mind for far too long!

I didn't get one either. But Soos has a point. I don't have a thing to wear to a wedding anymore. Now if the Queen would like to loan me something, but her size and mine would be way off anyway. :lol:

And just think of all the money I would save on the plane flight etc. Really don't have time to go either.
