Wow Liz, CONGRATULATIONS. That was certainly fast. If I put my stick house on the market tomorrow, it will probably sit here for a couple of years judging from what's been going on around me. But then it's like a RE friend of mine said, it only takes one buyer....

Now you will be free to go where the wind blows. I sometimes feel like that Song "Wayward Wind". I am certainly a next of kin to that Wayward Wind. As the verse goes, "Oh, the Wayward Wind is a restless wind. And a restless wind is born to wander. And I was born the next of kin, the next of kin to the Wayward Wind" :) You go girl. I will expect to see you in Michigan one of these days.

This is great news! You have been 'out there' enough to know this is what you want to do...now, I suspect there will be eyes awaiting news of a roadtrek going up for sale ;) :D

that is awesome news!! You must be nervous and excited all at once. Are you going to have
to do a yard sale or have you already gotten rid of all the extra stuff? Putting it in storage
for the time being? Maybe someday you'll make it out to Arizona :D

Congratulations, Liz. Did I somehow miss a post where you talked about selling and going fulltime :o And does this mean you are abdicating the position of head organizer of the FL winter GTG :( Know you're gonna love your new lifestyle and only time will tell if you get cabin fever. Hope all goes well with the closing. carold

Wow Congratulations Liz - that must have been a surprise happening so quickly - hope the closing goes as smoothly.
Enjoy the wandering life. Speaking of songs The Driver like "I was born under a wandering star" from paint your wagon -it goes pretty well with a full timer life style

My last RV, the Pleasure Way, was named "Wanderin' Star" after that song. Fit me too.

I will likely park at the RV park in McIntosh near my church & friends, until after dr. appts. in April. Then will do as I had already planned and meander in the NE this summer.

No plans to sell the Roadtrek....it fits me well and I'm still "in love" with it. I plan to full-time in it at least a year and probably two (AK in 2012) before deciding if I want something bigger.

Great news Liz.....

(remind Joselyn to wrap up that work thing she has going and find her way out to the road, too. You know we would all help her shop! :D ) But then we also know where her driveway is so..... we can find her!

And it was pretty smart to get it underway before the FL heat starts and you want to be out of there! :D :D Sending (((((hugs))))) and congratulations. :)

That's what I get for turning the computer off early last night - and coming on late this morning. WOW! Congrats, Liz. And keep that RT at least till after Baja, too. Whenever that will be :) To be honest, if it hadn't been for two dogs when I started out, and if so, probably would still be. We both know we don't need lots of "space" You've traveled enough to know that - often with someone else along. Now, you'll need to fill those cabinets more with just your own stuff.

I do think this was meant to be. Am sooooooooooo happy for you.

Oh Liz, I am so happy for you !!!!. You have moved along at your own pace and I know been praying for all the answers as you planned and worked and now you know you are going the way you should. When a person finally puts a house on the market and in just a few days has a buyer already, you KNOW you have chosen the right path. I think you have planned and know most of what to expect and what you want to do , so I say God Bless and you 'Go Girl" .

I just am hoping that one of your stops on your way up NE way will be by here, in May. I haven't seen 'Silver Lining' yet, remember.

Now, to see if there are anymore surprises on here :o ;)

Whoo Hoooo Liz. I ENVY you. I'm still waiting to see if the woman I showed the house to is going to buy it. Fingers crossed. If the RT is too small you can always go bigger. Are you setting up all your bills to pay online? Got a PO Box? Get one with an actual street address and a "PMB" rather than just a PO box. A lot of companies want a street address. When I'm filling out any forms I treat my address like its an apartment - I don't actually put "PMB" I just put the number. Are you going to pick a homebase? Consider Texas - no state taxes, etc. Soooooo happy for you.
