I don't have an RV yet but have found that the chairs used in the Born Free (tried them out at RV show and a dealer in FL) were unusually comfortable for me. Just checked some of the literature and it says Born Free RVs are equipped with Flexsteel chairs. Don't know about costs but here's a link to the Flexsteel Motor home/travel trailer/marine furniture

Flexsteel is a common rv furniture manufacturer. I remember the day when if you got a sofa bed, you wanted to make sure it was by them. That said, I think my sofa is flexsteel. It's better than some. The important thing - what's comfortable to one of us, isn't to another - so check out everything! And if it's not - make sure it's something you can take out/replace, etc.

I've got a couple of recliners here in my living room that are really comfty. If I had a big enough Rv and could get them in the door, they would be in there in a flash.

My "wicker" desk arrived today and I didn't like it. it just didn't have that look that some do. I paid a small fortune, I am sending it back. So today, I went to the wonderful furniture store here in Tillamook, called "Roby's Furniture" and found the coolest "sofa" table that actually has an extension so it turns into a full sized table, I couldnt believe my good luck in finding it, I have never seen a sofa table that did that, someone had their little thinking beannie on when they came up with that, it is just perfect. it arrives on Friday and I will take photos to post. I learned that LANE and LAZY BOY intentionally make their chairs in two pieces so they can get through tight doors, etc.

I know it may seem odd to some that I would give up my couch for a desk. I figure I have the recliner to relax in and the space is better utilized as a "mini-office space" than a second relaxing spot...If I am wiped out and want to watch TV (when it's available) I will just go lay on my bed, like a slob.

Thanks for this laugh with my coffee this morning, Kd! I love slobbing about on my sofa or bed while watching TV!!

Finally some beautiful weather and was able to get MH home to see how hard it would be to remove jackknife sofa. Might need some strength to do that, then just lay a piece of plywood over the box and cover with a mattress, I hope it is that easy.

I have a problem and this will be taken care of first. I wrote about having 28 below zero weather. When I was able to check on MH the linoleum was not stuck to the floor and was split. I am having someone out to check on replacing it. I thought I would have the carpet with plastic covering removed and have the whole floor done other than carpeting. I think this will not work because carpeting was put in to cover small places that would look bad if removed. Has anyone ever put commercial carpeting in a MH?

Thanks, Glenna

I found this place when I was sewing for wedding parties. http://www.reinastores.com/Default.htm When I was doing some refurbishing in the 5er I bought some pillow forms from them. They were less expensive than Wally World even with the shipping and they had more pillow sizes.
