I love Survivor but did not catch the season opener as we were at Ron's aunts playing spades till too late in the night Wednesday night ~ the gals did beat the guys 5 games to 1!!!

We also like Amazing Race. Love to see the different parts of the world.

Mitch did you really apply for Survivor. I have two friends that have applied and neither have even gotten a call. One keeps talking about applying again.

I applied for the first season, when I thought it was really a game of survival...I had this hysterical skit written by a friend of mine and I had even bought most of the props to shoot the skit. Then I heard that not many women were applying, so I just made my video application plain and boring! DUMB mistake. When I didn't make it, I cried and cried, so George took me and a girlfriend kayaking and camping in Palau, over near the Philipines. What a trip that turned out to be!!!

Now that I know it's a mind game type competition, I wouldn't be interested. Anyway, now I'm too old and out of shape!!

Okay, I won't comment about the show till tomorrow as I plan to go to bed when it is over here in Texas. I am really tired tonight. I was up in the night with extremely low blood sugars

Bethers I am sure one of us sista's could keep Peaches while you were on the show. Maybe another sista would join in you on the show.

I record Survivor and then watch it the next day during the day when there isn't anything else worth watching, BUT for whatever reason my DVR didn't record tonight's show. No worries, tho! I just got online and watched it. I'm enjoying this one!

Sure am becoming a fan of the bearded big guy that got on evil Russels case.

Ok, spoiler alert!

I was really surprised at the person voted off last night. I would assume the FBI guy would have went but then, perhaps Boston Rob figures he's not a threat as he's so goofy and will eventually get voted off anyway, and the guy they did vote off was a bigger threat because he was young and strong.

GREAT show tonight! I'm glad GLAD GLAD that person is gone (at least for now...) but there will be a little "surprise" at Redemption Island for him/her, eh?

And I was pleasantly surprised at the Redemption Island segment...both by the concept AND the outcome!
