One year anniversary

Postby kelpie » Tue Feb 08, 2011 9:04 pm

One year ago today was the accident that injured my poor Eddie. If you all could see him playing with his toys today, you would not believe he had his pelvis broken in several places and has a huge pin holding him together. Thank you all for your support during that time, especially Karen, who cooked supper for me and gave me her couch for a night.

I'm so glad Eddie is all better ! It's amazing how the body can heal itself and how dogs can bounce back from such injuries. Give him a hug from us !

I'm so glad he's all better and that you and he are able to enjoy life to it's fullest now - a year later. The poor little guy has hopefully forgotten all that trauma.

It really don't seem like a year, but I'm glad he's all healed up, you're probably the one that cringes around traffic and he's forgotten all about it!

When I first read your post, I thought, "it's been a year already??" Time sure flies! So glad he recuperated so well! That was such a traumatic event

I wasn't a member when this happened but had to go back and read your blog. Eddie looks a little like my Rudy. I was thinking, as we all would, how this would affect me knowing I might lose my dog. My family says they would just bury me too. This is wonderful news. Give him a hug for me and Rudy :)
