California or Bust !!!!

This has been the longest week after having my flight home canceled last week due to storm. While there is another cold front heading our way I am hoping to get ahead of it tomorrow morning. Dallas might be a little iffy with snow forecast so keep your fingers crossed I sneak by before it arrives. Sister is all set to pick me up in Sacramento. I'm so excited to see the foothills with green spring grass and maybe even a CA poppy blooming! :)

Good luck getting back here! We've got the poppies blooming down this way already.

This state is great! 6 weeks ago I was taking photos of fall colors and now we've got wildflowers blooming already!

Diana - Happy & safe travels for you! I went to a RV rally in Hollister this past weekend and we continued to have gorgeous sunny weather and lots of hills with green grass!! I'm sure you will be glad to be back in CA

I'm home!!!! So happy to see the green grass and STARS! And the best surprise.....I am picking up a 3G signal from home. It's only two bars, but way faster than Edge. In the morning it might even be better. Lots of delays today, but it was smooth sailing *above* the storm. And had nice folks to visit with as seat mates. All in all a great day! Good night....

Glad you are home! Isn't it amazing that once you fly above the clouds the sun is always shining up there?!
I always enjoy a seatmate that interesting to talk to. One time I sat next to a lady that warned me that when we
take off she will momentarily pass out and not to be alarmed. Yep, she zonked for about 15 secs. and then was fine. :o :lol:
