Sad day today

Postby Gentleladybear » Mon Feb 07, 2011 6:44 pm

Some of you that were with me in Silver River knew I had gotten a call that my daughter in law had been placed in hospice. She has fought a long hard two year battle and was tired. Today a little after 5 she finally gave up. She was a special daughter in law to me, don't know that she and I ever spoke an angry word to each other. She will be missed greatly. My son is not dealing very well with this at the moment so ask that you remember him in your prayers that he will get through this and see that life will continue.

Life will be very different without Debbie in it.

Nan, I'm so sorry that this came to pass but am glad that Debbie is finally at peace which she wanted now. I hope that your son can, in his pain, see that she was ready and that he's not lost her - she'll always be with him. I've thought about you and both of them every day since you told me and have kept all of you in my prayers - where you will remain. Special hugs to you and your son.

Nan, I'm sorry that your son has to deal with such a loss. I'll be praying that he can hold tightly to the special memories he has of Debbie and the happiness she brought to so many people. And I'll be praying that you can, too.
