I know what you mean.....I used to love to call my Dad's cell phone because when he was recording his voice mail message, Momma was talking in the background. But now he has a new phone and a new message. :(

Boy Vickie did you hit a high note!!!

My Dad had done the recording on my BFF's answering machine. First time I called her after my Dad was killed and got the machine I was stunned and hung up. After I calmed back down I called back to just hear the message and his voice. The recording lasted for maybe 4 or 5 years but then the machine fried itself and the recording was lost. ut

Use to call her machine when I was in the dumps about something and knew she wasn't home just to listen to that recording!!! But like everything else in life things disappear or are lost. Good thing that memory lives on!!! ;)

((((((Hugs))))) all around. I lost my mom June 3, 1981. She was only 47, I was only 23! I miss her more every year, but the older I get the closer I get to the time we will be together again.
