Way too early Friday ...

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Way too early Friday ...

Postby Getupngo » Fri Feb 04, 2011 4:12 am

While many of you have been been buried under snow, it's been whiney-cold here in southern Utah ... you know, chilly with a biting wind. Oh, wah!

So it's supposed to get up into the 50s today and the 60s over the weekend. Obnoxious, I know. (me, not the weather).

I'm still struggling with my sleep, so the only way I can lead-out in Morning Coffee is to post before going to bed.  So I'll wait for the smell of everyone's coffee to wake me in the morning.

Good Morning Janice,

Nice to see you starting up the thread this morning. I have the coffee ready, so maybe it will wake you up. And some nice flaky biscuits if ou want one. :)

I hear you about windy and cold. Windy here too. Temps around 20 nd cloudy. None of the white stuff in the forecast though. Fine by me. Yesterday was so beautiful. Blue sky and sunny all day. And the sun is gettng warmer too. You can just feel the warmth. It's at a point where if you can find a spot out of that wind, you can actually sit out in the sun and just soak it up. Love this time of winter. Makes one start thinking of sprng and the summer ahead.

Not much doing around here today. Probably going to be a laid back day. I"m working on my little sign project and want to put one more coat of paint on my door frame and that will be done. Think I now have all the papework in to do my taxes, so plan to check that out today and if so, make an appt. with my CPA to get that taken care of. Got the snow out of the neghbors drive yesterday, so I 'm done with snow for now. It will be so nice when I can start posting about getting my TT ready to roll or some trip I just got home from and reading about others doing the same. Hang in there everyone. W are getting closer.

So time to get started around here. Have a great day all.

We here in Fort Pierce, FL are about to pick up and drive over to Walton Rocks Dog Beach. We are meeting up with Sarah and planning to spend the day playing...... Hopefully pictures will be taken. Hope everyone else gets to do something fun ...big or small. And yes, my friends back in Ohio are finding my posts on FB less and less entertaining :? as the cold, snow and ice keep moving over them in waves.....

We here at Blue Cypress have all been up and on pretty good walks this morning. I'm watching a blue heron as I type this. Yesterday, Liz and I were walking the dogs when Soos came down the road. I had my camera so got pics of her coming towards us. How lucky could I get? An otter crossed the road in front of her rig just as I was taking a picture. Yes, it's in the distance, but I got it. When I finally start posting, that'll be in the posts for sure. Ah, a little blue just foings the great blue. And a night heron was on his perch down from us again this morning. Egrets and ibises out and about this morning. Just another beautiful day in paradise. Waiting a bit for the fog and mists to lift then I think all of us, together or separately, will be heading out on kayaks/canoes.

Good SNOWY morning from Austin! yes, as the paper said....'almost 3/4 inch of snow'! :D

The city virtually shutdowns when this happens, all schools and government offices closed.
Warnings not to go out on roadways. Two major bridges across freeway are closed due to accidents. It's crazy.

I went out for a short walk, it's still only 25*. But the sun is coming out and I see blue sky!

Hope y'all enjoy your paddle! while the rest of us try to stay warm. ;)

Good Morning glad to see everyone is up and moving this cloudy morning... at least it is cloudy in Ocala and a nippy 59 because it is wet...
On todays list is taking Shadow for a walk while I ride... then laundry... gave Shadow a bath... so there are wet soggy towels... he was a smelly mess...
My friend Debbie and her friend moved in here yesterday... they were at McIntosh and may have a job here... I sure hope so...
Hope you all are staying warm...

This must be the only place in the country with nice weather! 65 right now and supposed to be up near 80 by Sunday. :D

Just sitting here waiting for the FIOS guy to come hook up my cable. Today is payday and I have some extra money to spend, so am going to go shop for a few things I need including a GPS, hiking boots, live trap, etc. Also need to do laundry today and make tuna salad for the potluck tomorrow evening when I get together with Linda and friends down in 29 Palms, after work. Should probably call my dad today too... And of course, watch some TV tonight to try out my new cable. I just go the basic package which is just the network channels and some local stuff but can start watching my favorite shows again (like Two and a Half Men) and watch the news and see what is going on in the world (do I really want to know? ).

Hope you all have a safe and happy day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Don't you negate those of us in FL out kayaking. It's absolutely gorgeous here. No air needed, no heat needed and I can wear my sundresses :)
