sorry about the sudden change in journey plans....but detours are sometimes necessary but that doesn't mean they have to be forever. There is always room around our campfire. Heck you can even come to gtgs....just check with Sarah (Bluepinecones)about that.....come whenever you can or want. Good Luck.

So sorry you had to change all your plans. But like the others have said, we don't throw you out because of it. You are welcome here - and at the gtg's rig or no.

Well, I guess I am a real idiot. I should have talked to you guys before I cancelled. Sounds like I could have come in a tent! I thought I had to have an RV to belong to this group. I guess some groups are lets say more informal than others. ;) I really wanted to come and when I get a job I would have just said I already had plans, but I cancelled yesterday and really don't have the funds anyway. I did get a lead on a good job today as a loan processor which I can do from home, fingers crossed that the agents decide to hire one here locally, they are still debating. I am getting settled in a little at a time, got my desktop and router all hooked up today; don't know if I mentioned before that I am a computer junky, one desktop, 4 laptops, one pda with wifi and now a droid x. Oh and a Xbox 360 even at 57 I like to play games and I get my Netflix on it. I also own 1045 DVD's and counting.

I received an email last night from the couple (my age) that bought the Roadtrek letting me know how happy they are with it and that it is running perfectly. Sigh!!
I am happy for them. I gave them a two hour teaching session on how to do everything and made a movie. I think they will be fine.

In the meantime I have my Suzuki XL7 with a car top carrier and a sleeping bag.

Thanks for all your well wishes and your support.

This was just on the news:
BANDON, Ore.—A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of Oregon this afternoon.

The epicenter of the quake was 138 miles west of Bandon and it hit at 2:02 p.m.

There have not been any reports from people who felt the quake and it was likely too far away to be any consequence on land.

It's the second quake off the coast in a 24-hour span. There was a 4.7 magnitude quake at 11:45 p.m. Monday. That quake was centered 180 miles west of Coos Bay.

I'll be at Crater Lake with my sister and nephews the days before Bandon. If anybody decides to go there, please keep in touch!

Diana, are there CGs near Crater Lake that you have reservations at? I really want to visit there, too.
