Yoo-hoo ... Mitch!

Are really, really, really going to drive to St. Louis in the weather you all are experiencing ... AND pull a trailer???

At the risk of ruining my "No-mercy Maydahl" reputation, I'm worried about you trying to travel anywhere this week.

Can't it wait a week? Huh, huh, huh????

Aw, shucks...FINAL decision's not in (my brother is quite the convincer - he convinced me to NOT put the Mobile Marlin back under its protective carport...), but I think we're staying put.

Even if we delayed the start, there's more snow coming for the St. Louis area on Monday and Tuesday.
And who knows yet about power being on with all the ice they're getting!

ON EDIT: I think the Bro is seeing that this storm is more than he expected (he's in Chicago 'burbs). Ya know, if it was just me, I'd take a chance on leaving Friday (roads should be clear). But I sure don't wanna be responsible for a sissy-a$$ dog and an 80 year-old man if there's any trouble...

So, my SuperBowl Sunday will be spent with a former football fanatic who doesn't quite remember what the sport is all about. :(

Go Bears? Oh, wait...Go Packers!!! :D

Okay, I have to admit that I've been sitting here reading a book with the laptop next to me, refreshing the screen periodically to see when you respond, Mitch.

Now I can breathe, finish my book, and go to bed not worrying about some crazy midwestern woman fishtailing it down the freeways with DH and Poor Pooch fearing for their lives.

All is well once again. But those 2 little ... "angels" from class today ... just wait until tomorrow. No-mercy Maydahl will loaded for bear! ;)

Glad you're staying put, Mitch. Smart move.

I would NEVER call Abby a little runt, she loves her Auntie Vickie and I could never be mean to George either, let's see, that leaves.....

Good choice Lori. Once on the list, you never get off no matter how you try to butter her up. And no matter what she promises either. :o ;)

Oh, I'm also glad that you decided to stay put and be safe. Linda

Dear Linda,

My Mommy just said something about her list and that you're pretty close to being on it.
That's probably a good thing, I think, because my Mommy is very very nice.
Hope you make it to her list.

Love,
Abby

Glad you aren't heading out - mainly because you can't trust the others on the roads.

My sis is in southern WI - got about 6 inches Monday night, then another 6+ on Tuesday night - this morning her little town already had her side street plowed, and her hubby and neighbor go their driveways done and she was planning to head out to lunch. Got to love the northerners - they take it all in stride. But the bigger cities have so much to deal with - including cars parked and snowed in, etc etc - takes a long time to get them all out from under. Plus I think Chicago and St. Louis might have got hit harder than farther north.

Stay safe - And I agree - Go Bears - oh, yeah, Go Packers, darn it.
