More from Mazatlan and surroundings

Postby asirimarco » Mon Jan 31, 2011 10:23 pm

Well I've been "under the weather" for about a week now - and wouldn't you know it was when our friend from Indiana was here. We had so many plans but only got to do a few things. Don't have the revenge but some other kind of intestional upset - had to go to doc - much cheaper here than US Doc, Shot, and 4 types of pills US$74 - English speaking doc and nurse. Told me my blood pressure seemed high - no sh** I was feeling like crap. Deceided it was "white coat" syndrom. Getting better now though and friend left this a.m. Ice storm headed for home area - ick.
Any way there are several blog updates from past week or so - Malpica bakery and tile worker, Copala (again) Concordia furniture maker - La Noria shoe maker - tried to add a couple of videos too.
The Driver says I must be really sick - I've only taken 25 pictures in the last 5 days!!!!!
Hope the weather doesn't hit any one too bad. Sounds nasty. Even got an email from our electric company telling us they have extra crews on standby.....
I should be back up to speed by next week - I hope - Right now my attitude is I WANT TO GO HOME - well it was until I saw the forecast. This is the first year I've been sick down here and it seems to have hit all in one month.
Enough - I need to eat some more crackers....Yum

Sorry to hear you have been ill Carol, sure hope you are better. You do not want to come home now, doubt if you could get there.

Glad to hear you are feeling better.

I sure enjoyed seeing the Tequila making process. Thanks for the tour.

Have updated the blog a couple more times. Just odds and ends from our friends triip here. We ended up not doing too much cause of my tummy - but hope he had some fun.
