Saturday!!! and I'm Late!!

Morning all...

Well, Echo and Cedar are on their weekend camping trips, so I'm here to greet you with the table set with coffee, tea, OJ, and pastries....
The clock here says 8:30am central time.....but being Saturday, I figured everyone slept in a little....

It's foggy outside, but suppose to clear and warm up later......We're planning just to hang out today and watch the NASCAR race tonight on the tube....

Okay, have run out of stuff to talk about and I need more coffee....so jump right in here gang.....tell us what you have planned for today...

I'm ready for a cup of coffee or two. I went to Walmart early---had to get laundry detergent and more!! I came home and baked a yellow cake. Bash's favorite is yellow cake with chocolate icing and I'm sure she will share with ya'll. I also made up some cherry jello which is her favorite. I'm gonna head down to farmer's market. This afternoon we will hook up the trailer and take her scooter downtown to the Dottie West Music Festival. Shellie's daughter is to sing at 2:30 and they have music all afternoon and into the evening. Heading for the coffee....

Morning...coffee tastes good this morning! It's 44 out and we're suppose to have thunderstorms this afternoon. There go my plans for washing windows. Darn! Maybe I work on my closet...I know there a things in there I haven't worn since I quit teaching 10 years ago. First it's a run to the grocery store and pick up some of the specials...it's getting that they're about all a person can afford! Tonight we're going out for supper to celebrate our 25th anniversary which was on Wednesday but with harvest in full swing and wet weather in the forecast we opted to wait until tonight. Good morning ladies !
It's cool this morning (38) but is suppose to warm up to the 60's - my favorite temperature !
I'm in Lincoln City Oregon and they have the kite festival this weekend - I'm not sure if I feel like tackling the crowds. I was at the beach last evening and there were already about a million people in town, I don't know if I'm up for that !
I'll probably hang out here - sit outside with Molly and maybe she and I will go to a couple or parks that are around the lake - shouldn't be as crowded there !
A nap is probably in the cards too

I'm here with my 2nd cup of coffee. Have walked the dogs and they're back to sleep on the bed. I'm waiting for Chris, my RV guy, to come and pull the bedroom window. He pulled the living room window and replaced the "weatherstripping stuff" on the inside of the window and presto, NO LEAK. So now we're gonna do the bedroom one. Thanks heavens I don't have to replace the whole window. That would have been really expensive, I'm sure. Well ladies, have a great weekend. Gonna put more summer clothes away for the winter.

Good Saturday all! We are getting ready to head out to a little league football game, but I thought I would stop by. Today is supposed to be nice and not too hot, good for watching football. Then I get to come home and get some housework done. Then I am going to pile up and watch the Nascar race too. I also need to try to find time this weekend to get out and work on the camper. Fall Break is coming soon and we may go camping. WOOHOO! I think the whole family needs it! Ok everyone is ready to go. Take care!

Goooood morning everyone! Even if it is 12:20 in the afternoon!!!

Honestly everyone I set my alarm for 7am this morning but I slept right straight thru it. Kelly the BRAT heard it go off and didn't wake me up. Said she knew if she woke me up that 2hrs later I would be after her to get up and that she didn't want to get up that early. Dang kid!! But she is now up, showered, on her laptop and waiting for me. LOL

I've been doing nothing but sitting here in my sweats swilling coffee, brought one of my coffee makers of course. Actually for the first hour and a half I sat swilling coffee while sitting on the porch swing here at the little cabin we're in. I can't remember the last time I sat like that not doing a single blessed thing other then vegetate? No laptop, no book, no TV, no nothing. Just relaxing and not trying to think of anything. Been awhile tho!!!

Will check in on ya'll later and wee what'cha have been up to.

Well here I am again around tea time. It is a beautiful day and I have been cutting grass and putzing in the yard. Wish I could bottle this weather for use in Feb. I forgot lunch so will have a whopping large tea. (Do the Britsh call lunch tea?) I have been waiting for my favorite Stayman apples and they have arrived. Tart and crunchy, sounds like apple crisp to me, or fried apples or apple butter, maybe applesauce, heck think I will just eat one. Can you tell I love apples. Car needs washing and the garage needs sweeping, anything to stay outdoors. Till later

Good afternoon all. I went out last night - sat outside drinking wine, enjoying the company of some of my friends here and listening to a band play classic rock. Tapping my toes and dancing in my chair - as the guys along with us don't dance. Why am I usually around guys who don't dance? LOL - last time I went to karaoke with one of these guys, I danced with all the other guys in the place. But was good last night and stayed with my group - oh, had an excellent dinner also.. wooooo eeeeeee - tried a fish I'd never heard of before - not only was it good, the crust on it at this restaurant was fantastic. Can't remember what the fish is called, will have to do that and post - and you'll probably all say you've heard of it, of course

Came home very late and almost immediately fell into a sound sleep. Got up this am, walked Peaches, then met up with a couple others here and headed over to Wal-mart (I needed to pick up a prescription). Came back and spent quality time with Peaches. Am not about to lie down and take a nap - that sound sleep was good, but not long enough.

Echo, I'm so glad you're able to relax and even sleep in. Good for you.
