Aww shucks! thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes. It was a pretty good day, all in all. Had to take my cat, Elvis, to the vets. He had a puncture wound on his arse near the tail that has abscessed. So, he's now walking around with a collar on! Ha Ha. Do they really think that will keep him from licking? He's a cat, spelled contortionist! He's not a happy kitty right now though with that dang thing around his neck! Purposefully walks into things with it, I think hoping he can knock it off! Too funny!

Ex hubby and wonderful GD took me to dinner at Outback and I had a nice steak and their garlic mashed taters! Love them but they didn't love me too much. Kept me awake till after 1 am with indiscustion! UGH. Live and learn. Also heard from all my kids (who are scattered across the US). Had hoped daughter would be able to join us for dinner but she had to work.

I have now lived 6 years longer than my mother did and 3 years longer than my brother did. I'm hoping for a quite a few more too!

Sure wish I was somewhere warm. I think the artic has relocated to the NE this year! It has been at or below freezing for most of December and January. But, I do have a trip south planned for April. For my retirement I received a gift of a trip to Disney World. I have booked it for spring break so that my bff and her gd can join Olivia and I. We'll be there for a week. I'm so looking forward to the Sun and Fun! And when I get back here it had better be Spring in the frigid north too!

Anyway, thanks everyone for the wishes. I come here often, just don't have much to post about anymore so mostly lurk in the background.
