Little Mama and Papas for y'all this fine Monday morning

I waited for hours for Colliemom to start our day and didn't feel right being the first one. I was up extremely early due to the "menopausal insomnia blues". So, I looked at the photos from the Florida Get-Together. Everyone looked so cold I had to put my fuzzy bathrobe on and turn up the heat. Wish I was there. Must be quite fun chatting and giggling around the campfire all snuggled up to fur babies...the puppies sure seem well-behaved.

I thougth I would do a silly "Monday" hommage:

M - is for the Money I'll likely spend today
O - is for the Ocean beach I need to walk

I'm not normally on here on Monday morning, but had some business to attend to
today and called in for a personal day at work.
I've been catching up on the campfire, holy moly, what a busy place thats been!
and in a few I'll catch up with the gtg and look at pics
Other than that, its cold as usual this morning, about ready to pour a 3rd cup of
coffee and then get dressed.

Good morning.
My last ten workdays and I am exhausted! I keep getting stuff done, but still a lot to do.
Sell car
Empty attic
Clean out shed
Find a tenant.
Change address

The list keeps growing!
On train going to frozen downtown for work.
19 degrees. Overcast. The city is sad from Bears loss.

Morning,
Not too bad weatherwise here in the PNW. We got a light shower last evening but suppose to be dry for the next week. Fingers crossed.

I'm so enjoying the GTG in FL but can't understand why they don't hold it a bit later to let the weather warm up some. I'm sure they have a reason for this, but I'm more of a fair-weather camper so I was curious. JMHO

I get my scalp stitches out this afternoon!! I'm going to be glad to see them go so I can stop putting on Vasoline, for one thing. Then I'll be able to wash my hair better, too. I'm also getting a shingles vaccination. I certainly don't want to chance getting those. They are horrid. My sister is suffering so with it.

Tomorrow my second eye surgery!! I will be so happy to not see lopsided like I have been doing this past week. Sure hope the second eye turns out as well as the first for better eyesight.: 20/25 now.

Looks like I need to wish everyone to keep warm. Coffee is hot and plentiful, help yourself!

LJP, your tired now but just think of all the time you'll soon have to kick back at a campfire and simply "chillax"! It will all so be worth it.

Lenora, keeping ya in my prayers for tomorrow. And yeah it'll be great to be able to see 'straight'. Ya sure don't want to be plowing crooked. LOL

Weather here is so nice. Sun is shining brightly and so warm to sit in, enough breeze to set my wind chimes to singing their music and I'm loving it!!!

Nothing exciting going on here really. Same old, same old. Tho with the sun shining so warmly for 'me' I will hit the shower room to scour and scrub the camper grubbies off of me!

Did finally get one w-2 in the mail but still waiting on the other so that we can file! WooHoo! Can hardly stand the wait. Got to get them new tires ya know. Will also pick up the needed part for the hot water tank and also the rubberized goop for the roof! Then will put in some work on the trailer. Be a huge relief to get the tires and roof done. And to have hot water again!!!

OK, I'm gone! Got to go catch up and check out the new pics that I know are waiting from the GTG.... Hope everyone has a extra fine day and remembers to stay safe!

It's way past morning, but it is still Monday. I am quite disgusted that I am not somewhere warm this winter like I was the last two years. My original plan for this year was to travel to the Orlando area and work at Disney World for a few weeks/months. Their web site made it sound like they would love to hire "snow birds' and all I had to do was say when I was available. Well, I applied in October, saying I was available in Jan and BUPKiIS! Since I really need to pay down some debt (some from last 2 years of RVing) decided to just stay home this year. Theoretically, Disney could call any day and offer me a job but I'm certainly holding my breath waiting. With the temp here staying below the freezing mark pretty much the entire month, I believe I'd be out of here like a shot if they called. lol

Kellie, I know Margie's DH is working at Disney this year and Carolyn/Sunshinecruiser was supposed to start soon, don't know if she still is or not. From Margie's blog, they have quite a few people they know that work there.
