Florida?

Ok I can't stand it.

Who's talking about a Florida GTG for this winter??? Just might be able to make it if we try hard. If we come down for it we will be tenting it so I hope the camp ground allows tents. Or maybe they have camping cabins????

Echo... well to start with ... Looks like Nan, Liz, and Me.(Barbzeee) to start off with then I see Sunseeker (Jill and Tommy) and possibly Sparkle is she's in the area...(if she comes back our way).. Retired Happy (Karen) is planning on being in Florida... I know I can make a few of the GTGs in the area if remember they allow my critters... I know the park we were in Ocala will allow... that was a nice one.. and I'm sure as we get more interest going and those that live in Florida and lurking her might want to join us.... I'll be leaving for Florida Oct and don't come back up north till end of April... so....ever who...or who ever as we say up north... wants to come and join.. let's start planning it ... we have the time...
Most places Echo will let you pitch a tent...I haven't seen any that don't... you're in better shape than I ... cause with my critters there is only a few places I can get in...

Ok...so all who'd like to join our GTG start posting..and we can go from there...

I would love to try and make it also. February or March would work good for me. North Florida or Panhandle would be my preference, but hopefully I could make it wherever it turns out to be.

I'm still in the planning stage but right now am thinking first week in March at Mexico Campground (Sparkle's recommendation). I'm not interested in swimming, just walking the beach and listening to the surf.

Sounds good to me. I use Microsoft Streets and Trips and found Mexico Beach, FL but didn't see Mexico Campground. Does it have another name?

I've never been to Mexico Beach so hope that is where we can have the GTG.

Hey, I'm for Mexico Beach, FL after the 1st of the year. Looks like it could be a great place & even better time. I'll keep checking this post for plans.

Ended up booking a week in Port Lavaca, Texas because of the price of gas. Will be there the 2nd week of March and then we might go visit Beth for a few days.

Hey all...most likely March or Early April as I leave for home the end of April...Yeah we'll all chat and set something up.. I'll also find out when my Robert will be coming down.. as he usually comes down close to our anniversary...and that would be easier for me if he was here... we'll work on it.... So if all of you have MSN Messenger we can meet in a chat session...how's bout it.... I have Trillian chat program that lets me chat in AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ what ever ...I'm ready willin and almost able...LOL
