Herschel here.....
We are getting to warmer country. The GHL did not take pictures of the glaciers left behind along the side of the roads but walking through the state park we could imagine the plows going through last week. These are pictures from Red Top Mountain State Park just a little bit north of Atlanta. The lady asked if we wanted a pull through. The GHL asked if there was a price difference. Apparently not so we got a pull through. Later walking through the park I decided that the GHL was one lucky lady. Level looking sites on the other loops were few and far between. Oh, Oh...and the sites have cable....in a state park even the tent sites.... now that is really rough camping.....
Pretty ...but one of the back in sites....
And I don't care how many inches of snow they got here the water is still rather low....sort of sad looking.
Nice rocks around here.
They cooperate with the trees.
"I wonder who lives in there?" asked Stuart. "Shush, don't wake it up." counsels Herschel.
And tonight we are staying in a cousin's front yard outside of Macon, GA. Cousin Carole told the GHL not to park to close to the fence. Appparently the welcoming party has also been know to chew on vehicles.....
"Okay, did you not get the part that they have been known to chew on things! Just woofing here."
