Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Thursday!

Gooooood Morning to all!

YeeeeHaw it's Thursday, our last day this week. OMG we are so looking forward to having 3 days off. And of course going to Pigeon Forge. I can't remember if I posted that instead of tenting it this weekend that we are doing a camping cabin? I had really wanted to do the tent thing but the thought of maybe having to pack up everything while wet was a huge turn off. Ya just never know at this time of the season what the weather will do. And I don't really put that much trust and faith in the weather man. ;) Of the campground I called to try and reserve a camping cabin? We ended up with a KOA of all places. They were the only ones that didn't require a three night stay and price. We only have the two nights and that's what we got. And the real shocker is that they were the best on price. Now go figure!!!!

Got to bed late last night and I feel it this morning too. Didn't get to bed until midnight. I was up doing a cover letter and resume for one of the gals at work. She is also taking a 3 day weekend. So tomorrow she is going job hunting. Dang it's been years since I've done a resume. Talk about straining the brain. I ended up googling resumes and followed the guidelines from a sample. And then I had to do a letter of recommendation up for David. First time I've known for someplace to ask for one from family members cause he asked Kelly to do one up too.

Ok it's that time. I'm ready to go out the door but Kelly just got in the shower. Good thing she can take a real quick shower!!! We need to get out of here this morning and stop at the little store down the street before we head to work.

Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe.

Love to all

I'm up, I'm up, wheres the coffee...........ahhhhh I really needed that.
More of the same regular stuff today for me, never ending chores cause
I can always find something that needs doing. My life is so boring and
didn't get to take that little day trip this week cause I got my tag renewal
in the mail and said "oh chit, gotta spend that extra money on my tags"
Can't believe its been that long already, but on the good side of it, it
means I've got the loan down a whole year.
Just a reminder the new season starts tonight for
the Las Vegas CSI, remember Orik was killed at the end of last season.
And.........Survivor is on tonight and I hope they don't come on at the
same time cause then I'll have to miss Survivor.
Have a great day and be safe.

First things first ... the dogs are fed ... and the coffee's on. Aaaah. Now it's oatmeal with a handful of raisins/craisins and a sprinkling of almonds.

I've finished ripping up sod to widen the gravel portion of my driveway. Now I need to move three sprinklers, put in the wood edging and call the gravel folks to deliver a load in the middle of my driveway. I need to get that & the prep done by end of the day Friday because we have S-N-O-W forecast for the weekend. Brrrrr.

Today is my second appt for physical therapy on my knees. I have to say I've been less than compliant with my "homework" exercises. Well, I won't be the first. But even with that, my knees feel a lot better. I guess I should adjust my attitude.

Speaking of attitude ... I just realized that today is the four-year anniversary of my husband's death. That this is the last paragraph in my "good morning" post is good news. In previous years ... the WEEKS leading up to this anniversary have been awful. This year I am doing SO much better. Probably part of that is due to having visited with Jim's son out at the state mental hospital, and a big part is just TIME. And maybe next year it'll lay me low. Who knows. All I know is today is the day I've got ... and I'll make the best of it.

Have a great day, everyone!

Janice, I'm glad to know you are doing better and time does help. Only you could make the decision about visiting your step-son and only you knew what was best for YOU!! Hope your therapy on your knee goes well. The driveway work sounds like a lot of work!!! It will be worth it though. I have to have gravel put down but I will wait till spring since we won't be here this winter.

Just got a call from my older brother last night and my sister-in-law's Mother passed away yesterday afternoon. My sister-in-law and I were in the same grade at school so I have known them all every since I can remember almost. Haven't decided if I'm going to make the trip home yet or not. It is about 400 miles one way. I'm a lot closer to my nieces and nephews on Bill's side and I am really thinking about going to Illinois for the funeral. They are to make arrangements at 1 today so I'll have to make up my mind after I know what is going on.

Okay, I did a magnificent post this morning but it apparently went off into the ether. And its now afternoon and I don't remember what I posted. You all will just have to guess.

RV guy came by and took out the living room window, put new rubber seal on it, put it back in and caulked it. When the caulk cures for 24 hours I'll hit it with the hose and see if we solved the leaking problem. Everyone cross their fingers for me. If it works we'll fix the bedroom one. If not, will order all new windows. Arghhhhhhh!

Finished making a little goodie bag for everyone coming to the Texas GTG. There's till room for more of you.

Well, I hope this post doesn't evaporate off into the ether.
