Good afternoon,
Going on 2 here in the rainy, drippy PNW!
My head surgery went fine this AM. The Dr got everything in the first slice so he stitched me up (4 stitches) and put a pressure bandage on.
I look really wonderful with a huge white lump taped to the top of my forehead, but am thankful that it's done and was caught early. Goodness, after he took the slice I had to wait in a special waiting room for the results with 5 others getting tested. Some of those people have had their entire noses reconstructed because of skin cancer. I really felt sorry for one man, who was with his wife. He had skin cancer on his nose and didn't even know it! Not sure how it was caught, but he was visibily shaken about it and was on the second go-round when I left.
I get the stitches out in a week.
Tomorrow, my eye cataract surgery. Keep the prayers and good thoughts flowing!
I'm off to take a nap.
