Maybe they will get your rig fixed faster if they know you are there waiting for it!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I have a similar problem, altho I only live about 6 mi. from my mechanic, I still need to find a ride which isn't easy when most of my neighbors either work or have young kids or don't drive any more. There was one time when the mechanic's wife gave me a lift home and then I found a ride back the next day, but I hated asking someone to do that. When I took the MH in for the winterizing I told them that I couldn't leave it and that it had to be done while I waited. No problem, just set up a time and they were good about getting it done asap. I now need to have my fridge looked at as it has never switched over to gas for me, and I haven't a clue what to look at to check it out. One reason I haven't went boondocking etc. but I do need to get it fixed before Spring and the Bandon, OR GTG. :D

I have used it for ill cats before, also. Cats deteriorate fast when they don't eat. Stay warm everyone....definitely NOT sunny here in SW Ohio. I need to start making lists and start packing if I ever want to get out of town. I will need to turn some heat (electric) on in the bus to tolerate the packing process and I also need to wait until the road clear a little b/c I believe I am out of propane, too. Mostly I want to stay inside read a book and stay warm.

Guess I won't be planning on passing through Atlanta any time soon..... :o :) And Carol thought that her mountain might be clear by the end of May.... I can always head more east and make my way through NC and south.

Good evening, everyone.....Here's the latest report I have about coming south. It is from Doodlelady's DH, who had to run back to Maryland for some business stuff....he states that I-95 is clear, but the snow is all the way down until about 60 miles from the SC/GA state line.....we have NO SNOW here in the Savannah area....and points south into FL.....so those heading to the FL GTG should be fine coming down on I-95.....But we are cold..... in the mid to low 20s at night.....have been disconnecting the water at sundown and re-hooking it up after the sun is up....probably have to do it until Sat. or Sun......

Hope this helps those planning their trip south....
