Or rather than using the hand drawn bowl, try this. If you print it large enough you could museum paste this to the bowl...then blend in those bangs and you wouldn't need the hat at all! Image Just sayin....

I like it enough that if you really hate it but keep it - would let you die mine that color in FL. Just sayin' This could be fun :) And I really don't think I'd look good as a redhead, but hey, willing to give it a try.

ok, I have to admit, I did that once. The solution I had, I had a bottle of T-Sal shampoo
from when I was on chemo and the psoriasis tore up my scalp, well, don't ya know that
T-Sal took out all the color in just a couple washings. Its actually salacytic acid, thats
what the SAL stands for. You'll find it in the shampoo aisle, next to the dandruff
shampoos and made by the same folks that made the T-gel shampoo. It stripped out
the wrong color and didn't damage my hair. Course I used lots of conditioner after
that just in case but I couldn't tell there was any damage.

Honestly I don't think it looks bad at all! Look on the bright side...you could join the local Red Hat Society and you wouldn't even have to wear a hat! Got a purple outfit? ;)

I really like the color!! thinks it's cause its so different that you are having problems getting
used to it! So brave it let it go and see what you think in a few days or a few washes

Thanks for the laughs, girls    I agree that I do like the color. Now, if we could just see how it looks on her! I used to color my hair red and had a lot of fun with it. Even tried different shades. It does wash out quicker than most colors so will change quickly with a few washes. A colorist explained to me that the molecules for red are larger and don't soak into the hair as much. Anyway...for awhile I thought reds had more fun than blondes  Just sayin'!

Oh boy do I need to get on this site more often...

Mitch I like the color...I keep thinking I should color my hair, I am almost totally gray and have been since I was 22.

I am open to suggestions. I will try to figure out how to put a picture in and you all can give me suggestions. Well Sheila and I have met, and if she remembers what I look like she might be able to explain my color. People have always told me it is more silver than gray.

okay, I clicked on the insert image button but it just put those two things in....guess I will need to figure this out.

Ali, you have to put the URL (location of your picture) in between "those two things" - [img ]PUT IMAGE LOCATION HERE [ /img]

If you're totally gray (as I am) you'll be shocked at what a difference color makes. Just last year, I let my red grow out and went to gray/silver again (it's a pretty silver), but could only stand it for about maybe a couple of months!

I say, go for it...it'll grow out!

Thanks for the help Mitch...I did get the avatar thingy figured out. Don't know if you can tell in the avatar picture buy my hair is down past my shoulders about 3 inches.

Am thinking of coloring it the night we leave Blaine on 2/13 so if it is a bomb none from home can see it...oh darn, just thought we take a lot of pictures guess they will see it

Not even sure what color to try or how to decide what brand to buy. Is it hard to do it yourself?[color=#800080]
