Those first two pictures, would look wonderful framed and hanging on a wall. I loved the crashing waves, there is such a feeling in standing on shore and forcusing on what the water is doing out there in the ocean. One of my favorite things to do is walk along the shore line or stand as you did on a cliff and REALLY see what is in front of you.

Thank you so much for posting these pix.

You have certainly put a visit to the Oregon coast on my "got to see" list. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Beautiful pics, KD!! I spent a year on the OR coast in 1964-65, and lived right on the ocean. It was a girl scout camp director's lodge, accessible only by boat, and was one of my favorite places I ever lived. Although the camp was not an island, the back part where the property attached to the mainland was all swamp and marshy, so boat was the way to get there. Those cliffs and rocks out in the ocean are very familiar to me, and I collected agates at low tide which I now have back home in the Adirondacks in a glass milk bottle. I was always going to get a rock tumbler and make polished gems out of them----some day.

Thanks for these great pics----that second one is a prize-winner, with the breaking waves. I guess they all are worthy of prizes.

Happy travels!
