Good morning ya'll,

Hope everyone is having a wonderfully blessed day so far ! My husband and I are brand new to the RV world, though we have tent camped for a while now. We are in the process of winding down our careers and looking forward to many travels and making many new friends.

So nice to meet you.

Hi Pookie!
Looks like you were so excited to join that you did your intro twice! I merged the 2 of them. Glad to have you with us - and hope that you jump right in and make yourself at home with this wonderful, wacky group of women. Oh, and we want to learn from you, too!

I was actually born and raised up in Cincinnati.

We just purchased our first TT recently, a 27' Cruiser Viewfinder, and am looking so forward to exploring Kentucky initially and then branching out. It's being stored for us outside of Cincinnati and we hopefully will be able to pick it up the beginning of April. I am so excited! We used to take our children camping a lot when they were younger and then as they hit adolescence, they weren't into it anymore, life got a bit complicated, etc. so we quit  . Now,as emply nesters, we are ready to pick up where we left off. :D

Thanks for all the words of welcome. I look forward to learning, chatting, and be-friending !

Well, I'll be darned - I have a Cruiser RV, too! A teeny-tiny 2008 16' Fun Finder X.
Where'd you get yours? I got ours in Mayfield KY.

The Viewfinders are awesome! Which 27' model did you get?

We got our Cruiser just outside of Cincinnati. It's the 24SD model. We looked at smaller models but since my husband and I are on different sleeping schedules (he's an early bird and I'm the night owl) we felt that we needed a bit extra space to roam if we need to. How do you like your Cruiser? Did you have any others before you got your current one? I am absolutely amazed by how many different RVs there are out there. We looked at so many at so many places, that I just told my husband, "please just go get whatever you think is best, I can't bear to look at any more", but anyone who knows Joe, would not be surprised at his extensive research  Whew

Nice to meet you btw.

I just spent 2 months at a state park in KY - was really nice and beautiful country. I would think you could spend all spring/summer/fall visiting the different areas without even leaving KY. But hope you do leave and come meet up with some of us occasionally.
