I'll take one of them thar beers, ifin ya please. That'll make 93 bottles left on the wall.

I spent the day at freightliner in South Baltimore getting my AC fixed. So, I'm sitting in the waiting room and the mechanic comes in and says "Did that AC EVER work?" To which I reply, "yes, until just south of DC on my way back from Florida". So, he goes back and comes back later and says, "The AC is working just fine, blowing cold air. Compressor is fine." Seems that there are electrical gremlins in my MH. argh

Heck, gimme another one, make that 92 bottles on the wall.

You asked lol - was supposed to be one of my days off, but I worked 5 1/2 hours. Was supposed to go for a girls night out to karaoke - but got a migraine, so I stayed home. Came here to enjoy some comaraderie around the fire for a bit before I go lie down and hope to sleep this off. Took a muscle relaxant to help me - so no beer or any alcohol for me - just hoping the warm fire and the pill I took will get me drowsy enough to sleep, sleep, sleep.

Echo - that time of difference in the weights is normal. What do you think you're going to be carrying? A load of bricks LOL - remember that already includes all your appliances and furniture.

Nope no bricks.

But that CCC was just terrible. It was like 1200lbs. Now that is ridiculous, good grief. I know that we will be down sizing and getting rid of stuff but I and I know Kelly too would like to keep a few things. I really had to freaking wonder what the heck a family of 4 would do? Especially if they are starting out RVing? How many people sit down and thinks about it all? Probably why we see people over loading their RVs and then wonder what the heck is wrong with it or why it falls apart so soon.

Between the pill, the beer and the campfire you will probably go out like a candle in a hurricane!!! Hope the Migraine goes away and that you have sweet dreams!!! :) Night Beth...

Talk about chill---there is definately a chill here this morning. I couldn't sleep so I got up and logged on and had to grab a throw!! I threw some more logs on the fire and grabbed a beer to warm me up while the campfire takes off. I need a roaring hot fire this morning then I'm gonna make some hot chocolate to go with bacon and eggs. I would like to burn my brush pile here at home but it is too dry! We may get some rain the middle of next week. Sure hope so!!
Brrrrrrrr ------ am still chilly!!!

I just piled several more pieces of wood on the fire,...... there was snow,.... yep,.. S-N-O-W! on the high peaks this morning. Or as the weather person says,... "higher elevations..."... well, even looking at it miles away across the valley and into the Adirondacks makes me shiver,... gotta go get another layer of fleece! ACK!

Oh, I'm a happy camper - still have my headache but decided to live with it today instead of letting it get the better of me. We are finishing deep cleaning here for the fall - and I finished the cabin I was doing - and now I'm taking tomorrow OFF ... yes, and unless I pick up any other deep cleaning jobs I'm only working 2 days this coming week. Wooohooo - will be like a vacation LOL And I deserve it. The next month is crazy schedules with lots of workampers taking time off before the winter season is in full swing. Then I take time off for the gtg in early November, and another worker takes her time after me - then onto the winter schedule - where I'll only be working 3 days a week instead of 4. Yippee! I did pick up Thanksgiving Day- but then was told that's only a 1/2 day for the holiday - to just go through and do the initial morning cleans then get out of dodge LOL - no argument here.

So, had a glass of wine at a neighbors rv and am about to have another here - then vegetate for the night. Anyone want a cold glass of wine? It's got a slight taste of grapefruit to it - came from Fredericksburg - bottle is here to pass around :)

Thanks Cedar for that beer you opened for me!! I'm celebrating on my laptop tonight at the campfire. Hate to tell you but I kicked on the air for just a bit to cool it down in here. It is cooler outside than in here!! Had the oven on fixing oven fries so that heated it up a little!! Think I'll have a marshmallow along with another beer. Don't have any idea how many are on the wall----just know there was one for me!! HA Hope your headache is better Beth and keep warm Cedar!!

just got back from the grocery store, have the groceries put away and enjoying
a crisp salad, crackers and a little wine. I actually bought a little carafe of white
zinfidel, and it is SO good. I also plan on making some of that dangerous chocolate
cake (in recipes) so I bought the chocolate chips too. Bought a few extra snack
items cause I'm gonna be off all week and god knows I need something to do
Probably gain a few lbs  that would not be good.

Haven't been here for a while - behaving myself. yah, sure. Any way thought I'd stop by and bring a big pot of MALE CHAUVINIST Chili. Good stuff especially when it starts to turn a little cold. Should be enough to go around. Recipe included.
Also have some panqueques and dulce de leche for later. My husband makes the crepes - a big stack at a time. When done we spread the caramel sauce in them and roll them up. Yummie! Make the caramel sauce by boiling sweatened condensed milk for a couple of hours. When cool it is delicious. Will sit here for a while and enjoy the flames and company.

I need a couple too ----that makes 113 I think!!! Not real sure. Lori, if you go through Conway, Arkansas, be sure and stop at Pickles Gap (Skunk Hollar and Toad Suck) on the west side of Conway. It is a tourist trap a little ways off the interstate but a real hoot!!
