Okay, so my mind might continually strive for the gutter, but I was thinkin' Carol meant "the other" hot...hence, my reaction. :o

I guess I didn't realize you were in tents in TN...I thought you lived with your son??? Oh, heck - no relying on my memory!

Well we spent from about October 14 to December 1 living in tents in my friends backyard. Then we got jobs and rented the house across the street from her. That's when the kids and David's girlfriend and I all lived together.

With further thinking... The size of your TT isn't huge so with a decent electric heater I would think you'd do pretty good. I would hope and imagine that it's got to have better insulation and built ? tighter than what this is for sure!!!

Go buy a heater, try it out in the TT and see how it does. If it doesn't do the job? Take the thing back and get a bigger/better one.. ;)

I've got Mylar emergency blanket, over fleece blankets, folded double over my curtain rods. It's helping a LOT!

Mitch,
Here's a suggestion that won't use any electricity or propane. Have George sleep in a stocking cap and socks plus whatever blankets are used. An older male friend (also named George!) of mine slept this way for years at home and now in a nursing facility! He was very tight with his money and kept his heat set extremely low at home, and swore the stocking cap and socks will keep you warm! Obviously there is sufficient heat at the nursing facility; however, he still sleeps that way!!

Too funny...I already got him mountain man socks, which he loves. I asked the bald guy if he wanted a night cap. He scowled and said I was ridiculous! Thanks for the suggestions. But he'll have it so hot in that little trailer, I'll move my bedding to the great outdoors!

The hat is a good suggestion, as you lose a lot of body heat thru the top of your head. Maybe you could find a hat that he wouldn't object to? Maybe with a picture of Nancy Pelosi on it?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
